These plugins are also in your account for free if you purchased something from them in the past.
Yup. Since I owned two of their top tier plugs I got the four X-Series versions for free.

you will have to ask yourself why did you buy split EQ to begin with?

A nice watch. Mostly 'already' known facts but a nice intro to the youth who don't understand us dinosaurs when we say The Beatles were ground breaking in so many ways from Rubber Soul, Revolver and beyond.

And you were working with upper tier artists that you didn't want to tell them you f'd up and they have to do the whole song over because the tape is ruined.
I'm pretty sure they made safety copies of the track first and if they didn't then that REALLY took some nads.

Am I correct in thinking I can take an existing song of mine and input the chords in BiaB - generate a song then take just the tracks I want and plug them into Cakewalk?
Yes.

Thanks Bapu! I appreciate the offer, but I'll probably just buy a new license as a new user if I go the BiaB route. Curious - was it wonky in Cakewalk, or in another DAW?
My troubles were not DAW specific as I did not use the VST plugin feature. I used it as standalone.

@Notes_Norton What I found fascinating about the entirety of Get Back was that The Lads were human. Justifiably so, they are on a HUGE pedestal, but the insight (and incites?) to their process was interesting to me (fights and all).
Yes, Ringo was the most professional member during the entire series.

Funny... I was just thinking about this site this morning.

I used BIAB quite a bit until about 2017. It started getting wonky on my DAW machine. I'm sure it was due to operator error (me). I'm current through 2020 (on hard drive). These troubles were not DAW specific as I did not use the VST plugin feature. I used it as standalone.

I've finally removed V9 from my system and I'm not likely to even upgrade to v10 unless it can wash my dishes and clothes at the same time while I'm mixing.

I tested both with VST3.
Note: I'm Studio One current 6.x, not Sphere.
