  1. There's also another annoyance with those plugins. You cannot download the trials for them in iZotope's manager and you have to download each reverb as a separate installer. That wouldn't be so annoying if I didn't have to download over 10 things.
  2. One of the features people have been asking for ages is having the ProChannel modules as plugins not tied to the ProChannel itself.
  3. Since I won't be having that sort of money (yes, it's only 9 dollars, but that's a lot of money in my currency) and don't want to be populating my iLok account with expired trial keys I can't remove, I'll be letting this one pass for now.
  4. That's only to creates profiles, since it uses TensorFlow
  5. It's a copy of the Randy Rhoads limited edition Marshall Super Lead 100, called 1959RR. It has some modifications to match the amp Randy used:
  6. Big thumbs down. You go to the button to download a demo and it just says "Demo not Available." Smh...
  7. I enjoy the fact that Trident still makes the renowned A-Range strip as a rack unit and what do they make plugins of? The other stuff that's not the A-Range.
  8. I'm gonna guess the developer optimized this for Intel CPUs, since I also had issues and I also have an AMD CPU.
  9. Fair enough. I'll take a look at them at some point.
  10. That sounds more like confirmation bias than the iZotope reverbs being miles better than the others, especially considering this is the first time I'm hearing aboout them and, if they were that good, everyone would know about use them.
  11. Amplitube has all those features on top of allowing you to choose which speakers go on the cabinets.
  12. I have more compressor plugins than anything else. New 670, Vari-Mu, LN1176, LA2A, SSL 4000G Bus Compressor emulations are released every 12 seconds.
  13. One thing I found out yesterday after opening AT4 is that the licenses do indeed carry over. They gave you the Brit 8000 amp along with free AT5 and...I can open it in AT4 as if I had a license for it before version 5.
  14. Is Subspace paid? Isn't it just a teaser from the other paid reverbs? If I have to compare paid against paid, I'll be measuring it against Arturia Rev INTENSITY.
  15. I'm sort of tainted to make a tutorial on how to emulate those sounds using synthesis. Personally as a guitar player mysef, I feel many guitar plugins fall short or don't emulate all of the stuff properly. Guitar is one of the hardest instruments to emulate because of its vast amount of articulations and sounds you can make, in many instances per note. MPE controllers sort of get you there but all demos often come from keyboard players that don't know how a guitar is supposed to sound.
  16. Not quite. How tracks bounce or freeze is controlled by the interleave button: Yes. The time it takes is tied to how much processing the track has to do and also how long the track is and if it has to generate a tail for reverbs and so on, which you configure on the freeze settings. Of course. The only thing freezing a track does is bouncing the track with effects and ProChannel settings it had and disables both.
  17. I'd compare that with Dragonfly Plate Reverb or Convology XT, which has EMT 140 impulses. Arturia also has a EMT140 plugin you can demo for 20 minutes, then reload for 20 minutes more. I believe Valhalla Supermassive can also do plate reverbs, despite it being more catered for those huge ambiance type stuff.
  18. I played with the plugin a bit and the reverbs are okay. I wouldn't say they are better than the ones I get from Valhalla Supermassive or Dragonfly Reverb, but there's probably a use for them somewhere.
  19. I'd say that is as resource heavy as the pre-Archetype Gojira plugins. I don't see why guitar amp emulations need to be so heavy in resources for what is sometimes a marginal improvement in sound quality.
  20. You have to confirm the subscription. The iLok license comes in the email that's sent after you confirmed.
  21. I haven't tried BB Comp yet simply because I have no idea how to set it up. After some look, yeah, it's a two band compressor and...What the other bits in the lower middle do? Are they different compression algorithms? Filtering?
  22. The only problem with some of those funky names is when you can't tell what the thing actually is. I don't know if manufaturers think all guitar players have a catalog of all amp references since their introduction and how they relate to bands and such. Line 6 is equally guilt of this with an interface as convoluted as TH3-U but in a more condensed state.
  23. Well, I need some replacement plugins, since Waves doesn't want to fix the bug that prevents me from logging in using Firefox.
