  1. Yep- I just caught up with some KVR threads where a lot of people who owned neither had also received the email. They were lamenting that this the demise of Soundpaint's "Never go on sale" policy.
  2. Must be generic- I got the email (I assume) because I already owned the flute (and the tenor sax) from 8DIO and it was referred to as a crossgrade. I already had the Soundpaint sax and it is very good, so I took the flute for a tenner without hesitation. The libraries are huge, but if drive space is a concern, you can delete a bunch of articulations that you probably will never use (63 for the flute and 72 for the sax).
  3. Just a bump that this deal is still working . Just got my third 3-month free sub for Apple TV after letting it expire for a few days.
  4. YES! My older version did not, but the latest one (2.2.5) has a unified Windows installer that is MS certified.
  5. Appears that the BF60 code doesn't work for this or some other stuff. Still, might be a deal though. Always looking for vocals.
  6. November purchases. Pre-Planned: Fab Filter Total Bundle Steinberg Absolute 6 FL Studio All Plug-ins (from Signature) Zynaptic Pitchmap/Colors/Vocoder bundle Groove 3 sub/renew Strategic opportunistic acquisitions / FOMO: Image-Line FL Cloud one year sub VPS Avenger upgrade to V2 U-He Diva Cableguys Shaper-verb (completes Shaper Bundle) Indiginus upgrade for classical Guitar Reason Fricktion synth and Chord gadget ($8 after credits) Probably the Mixed-in-Key Pilot update/library
  7. If you own Avenger 1 you can should be able to upgrade direct by logging in to https://www.vps-avenger.com/ You will see your serial for V1 on the left in a "Avenger" button. My price is showing as $81 and change. VPS said the price is 79 Euros, so I suppose US$ fluctuates. They also said that the Black Friday discount (at least for upgrades) would be honored until Dec 31 and acknowledged that the servers have had issues due to recent traffic.
  8. If you have Halion 6 you can crossgrade to Absolute 6 for $175, which gives you Halion 7 and a ton of other stuff. I passed on the 7 upgrade to await this deal.
  9. email: Our Black Friday deals are on. From November 23rd to November 28th our plugins will be up to 90% off and our bundles will be 50% off. To get the deals simply go to our website: https://www.hornetplugins.com
  10. https://www.sononym.net/blog/black-friday-2023/ Regular price is 89€ (VAT included)/ $99 Also released a bugfix v 1.5.1
  11. LE is an absolute steal for 24 €. I have the full version, but have rarely dug that deep. There a loads of devices with custom UI's with tweakable settings. Here is a two minute overview:
  12. Yes 🤪- I do remember that Pilot synced with Captain Chords, so I guess that was not new. I was able to get the updated version of the EDM Pilot, so I am going to give that a look when I have time to see if some issues I had were addressed. I couldn't find an end date for the sale but I posted a query on their Discord and will report back if they reply.
  13. @audioschmaudio I agree that Pilot was overpriced when they released it. I have an NFR for it because I was on the beta team. Alas I didn't keep up with the beta forum so I missed the beta for Pilot "Pop". I am thinking about buying it though- There is a video overview of the latest version on the Mixed site. Looks like they added some features and improved the Pilot UI. Also integrated with Captain Epic- which is nice because their functionality overlaps a lot.
  14. @Zoukiman Regarding the JRR price for Reason + I can't guarantee that this will still work, but it did for me last year. The Reason + $99 deal is for new subscibers only. Last BF sale I bought it and waited for my R+ sub to expire on about Dec 26. A couple days later I activated the license from JRR and I had to use the JRR supplied link (could not be registered direct with Reason Studios). Bit of a run around, but you are right, it is a substantial savings from their (IMO too expensive) rate. I didn't have to create a new Reason account or anything- just used my existing account to register the code that I got from the JRR link.
  15. code: BLACKFRIDAY23 https://mixedinkey.com/black-friday-deals/
  16. @pseudopop I am not seeing Red Diva presets included with Diva at JRR. The combo is 99.50 before coupon. Maybe they decided not to throw it in during the sale.
  17. JRR has picked up their sale now. Reason 12 perpetual license (from 1-11) is now $83.16 with "group". I think it was even cheaper several months ago. Likely the same price for Reason+ sub BUT if you have a current sub, you need to wait for it to expire and use the JRR authorize link after. I didn't see enough "return" for my sub so I am letting it go. Still considering the perpetual upgrade from Suite 11. Also have $75 "Reason bucks" to get a couple plugs that are not included in perpetual.
  18. Bit of additional info- Image-Line used to sell VST versions of some of their plug-ins. They stopped offering those and are FL Studio Only now. That info is all the way to the bottom of the description. They really should have a banner up top with that admonition, as someone clicking "plug-ins" from the landing page of the site might not be aware.
  19. https://www.sonicacademy.com/products/ana-2 $52.30 Very nice synth Packs are 40% off
  20. https://feelyoursound.com/current-sale/ Nice MIDI tools. 20% off singles, 30% off bundles. Ends Dec 2.
  21. I will give filterscape a look (Hive is amazing). I bought Morph EQ in a past sale and was quite disappointed in it- No MSEG or even modulation or LFO. Yes you can do it with automation, but I should have looked closer before I bought it.
  22. I will keep an eye out for that one. It certainly looks like a good one to play late at night when the cat jumps into my lap from the shadows. Starfield is still sucking down my gaming time lately. It's not immersive, but I am a fan of a lot of Bethesda stuff.
  23. Sneaking on a rooftop at night and hearing the headcrabs scurrying up the drainpipes to attack you. Still an unsurpassed horror/suspense experience in gaming IMO.
  24. I installed the demo and took it for a "spin". Not for me. There is a lot of capability in generating interesting arps from the many chord sequences, and the passing tone thing can be interesting. I just can't live with the circular UI. My brain doesn't like a piano roll going in circles. I would like to see an option with a traditional left-to-right piano roll for old fuddy-duddies. Thankfully the note editor presents in traditional horizontal format, but it is very poorly rendered. Also agree that WA should consolidate the MIDI offerings. I love MIDI gadgets, and there is impressive coding behind the WA tools I have tried, but it is the UI in their stuff that is just not worth muddling through (IMO). Maybe if Image-line acquires Audiomodern...
