  1. Looks great on paper, though I still wonder why no one has released a convincing demonstration of dynamic IRs advantages over normal, static IRs. FWIW, TwoNotes claim that their virtual cabinets are dynamic. Maybe it's true, but each time I try to use the Wall of Sound plugin, it eventually gets replaced by other options. Also worth noting that AT5 cabinets are now beyond excellent, second to none. Overloud's SuperCabinet has got Z-Curve which is kinda sorta emulates speaker dynamics. AFAIC, it works with user IRs as well. Considering all available options, SpeakerMix seems overpriced. And with its CPU performance, need for further investments as well as not apparent benefits of so called "dynamic IRs" I don't see it being a hit in the already crowded cab sim market.
  2. MCabinet is awesome. I've converted my Celestion IR and Ownhammer collections into MCab presets and use it almost exclusively.
  3. So much for AT5 Petrucci bundle high hopes.
  4. Is there a way to get it for less than $25 (with $25 voucher)?
  5. I was missing woodwinds. Now I got them all. Time to make some awesome music with these.
  6. IIRC, there is no choking with hi-hat, which makes these drum-kits a waste of drive space.
  7. Thanks for sharing! Here is a track, using TH-U for all guitar sounds. Not sure about bass, though. https://disk.yandex.com/d/XQnKKztfM4RMPA
  8. Interesting statement. Overloud and Plugin Alliance products barely use any CPU yet still deliver superb processing, second to none, dare I say.
  9. By that time W11 is bound to get mature enough. But, as soon as majority of users move to W11, MS will introduce their next OS. Probably, something with winDar kernel, native support for M1 chips and hopefully fully implemented Thunderbolt support.
  10. I used to wonder, why does it take so long to release an update. Now we know
  11. Wonder how it compares to CLA MixHub

    Bye bye SSD's

Request. Please, whenever you post a deal, make sure the product doesn't require having a microscope and polarizer!!!

    Solo exclusive

    Good to know! Thank you!

    Solo exclusive

No aux tracks. A very simple project with just a few tracks. I'll share it ASAP.

    Solo exclusive

What happened to the Solo Exclusive mode? It doesn't work the way it used to. Have there been any breaking changes that I might have missed? Currently, when I enable SE mode, set desired tracks to always on with Shift-click on corresponding Solo buttons (I think it's called solo override) and then try to toggle between other tracks by clicking on their solo buttons all I hear is only one of the soloed tracks. All other tracks are muted, regardless of the Solo Override setting.
  16. Hmm... I was talking about signal quality while processing recorded performance and you are talking about age of technology and making sounds.
  17. That's what they are. Maybe I just don't want that style of saturation in my tracks.
  18. I thought X-Gear series is meant to be Amplitube in a box. Having a software version of a hardware version of the original software version is kind of gimmicky to me. No offense intended. As for tape machine emulators, I genuinely tried to find a place for them in my workflow, but eventually had to give up. Can't see any benefit of mimicking tape style signal degradation.
  19. Python, C and Java. Spaces all the way!
