  1. You Americans and your WRONG date notation had me thinking this was a version upgrade 😜
  2. Ah right, I meant the KingKorg Neo.
  3. I'm working on a portable setup with some of the Roland Compact AIRA units, the IK Multimedia UNO drum and the Korg NTS-1. But this looks pretty pretty interesting to add. Bit pricey though, not for the unit itself because it looks great, just for my budget on this particular project.
  4. Just like with the Grandstage X, I'm not sure what (besides obviously more polyphony voices) this will actually add to the Minilogue XD.
  5. One of my favorites. I have a plethora of reverbs, but this one nails it pretty much every time.
  6. Almost there! I'm close to completing a full year of doing a weekly jam. And this one is a bit special. It's a lot more chill and the vocals give it an extra edge. Yes it's just some lines of Splice, but there is always some stuff going on which make it fit, sadly. Anyway, it's always remarkable how soothing a simple 303 line with some delay and reverb can be. Enjoy!
  7. I love my distorted sustained sounds. This time I found a french vocal in Splice which fits very nice! Overall it has a certain dark but melancholy feel to it? Also a bit uplifting. Whatever it is, it was fun to do. I got a comment from a friend that it's more for easy listening because it's still a pretty calm track.
  8. Thanks! Yes to my surprise is was fairly 'clean' (as far as it can be when not using headphones). I think the way I held the mic helped. But when compressing there was some really audible noise, so I had to be careful in processing. Luckily it's the same as the music that is already playing so it kinda blends in. When I didn't use the mic I just gated the signal.
  9. Ok first of all, I can't hold a tune if my life depended on it, so this is with every Autotune, Melodyne, Waves Tune Crispy Tune etc. help known to man. Seriously, I used all of it. But man it was fun to do. The rest is my usual synth heavy sound which I love. Lots of overdrive and distortion but with clear undertones. Oh and my camera app seems to suddenly not play nice and flicker a bit. Haven't found a way around that (other camera apps besides the native Pixel one don't let me do the 0.7x zoom, so it anybody knows one that does, let me know!).
  10. Thanks! I'll have the new one up in a couple of minutes.
  11. One of the best in its genre.
  12. Thanks! I'm still scratching the surface in my mind. But doing it every week means learning something every week.
  13. When it comes to EDM samples and presets, PML is one the best.

  15. It sounds ok-ish. In contrast, one of the best beatmakers out there right now, Tamuz, has a new kit out: THICC Vol. 2. It contains 120 breaks (instead of 50), 120 one shots (instead of 0), 100 melodic one shots (instead of 0) and 4 compositions with stems you can sample and cut yourself (instead of 0, but the multitracks are coming in a couple of months). Cost? normally $29,99 but with code BREAKOFF50 you get 50% off. That's about 10% the cost of the Elysia pack and I'd say quadruple the value, quantity and quality wise. This is insane. Who told them dry drumloops are worth their MB size in gold? https://hiphopdrumsamples.com/products/tamuz-thicc-vol-2-drum-breaks?_pos=19&_sid=b2f5bd54e&_ss=r&variant=40647811366978
  16. Thanks! And thank you for the comment. I really liked this one, it was a joy to perform. Next week I will be doing something really really really scary, live singing (with my own non-vocoder voice) 😱
  17. Got the hat, dimmed the lights, made a little show (thumbnail is with the light on, obviously). Besides all that, I reall really like this droning sustained distorted sound. Enjoy!
  18. I got Drones - High Intensity Drones for €11.
  19. Great Youtube channel. Some real quality content.
  20. Mine is showing at €303 and I own the Contempary Drama Toolkit. I'm not yet convinced I really need this bundle. Still a lot of money which I would rather put towards the Hologram Microcosm.
  21. X-delay is one of my favorites.
