IR Loader doesnt seem to remember loaded IRs after session closed and opened again (Reaper, Windows 10). Anyone else seeing that behaviour?

Works fine here in Studio One 5 Pro, are you using the demo or the full deal?, if demo it may be a restriction.

However I recall in my 8 years of using REAPER that it could be/was a little funky when it came to using 3rd party vst/vsti's, in my case BFD2/3, BIAS, ReValver, Amplitube and a few others. Haven't used REAPER for around 6 years now.

Except for the cab section, how different is this from PA's version single or dual?

PA's sound like shit, this one sounds a whole lot better, just use better IR's . That's just my personal take on it.

Does anyone here have experience with this and willing to share?

Yes, it's hideous, if you have it, see if you can give it back.

The only good thing about it is it has no associated pain, apart from mental anguish, but no physical pain.

Uncle E is aware of the issue now. We'll see what happens.

Update 1: Uncle E has said they store no personal information for billing. All transactions with credit cards go directly through the credit cards company portals so the website doesn't even obtain that data. Same with PayPal.

  4. $169.15 in cart at JRR, was hoping for $149 then discount, but that's close enough, gets me RX8 up from 7, the new reverb, Nectar 3 Plus (who doesn't want a 'Plus') from Nectar 3, another year of Groove 3, any additions and updates made to existing plugs, not to bad, that will do me anyway.

If they release something like Ozone 10 in the near future I guess they will also release a MPS 4.1 at a discount to MPS 4 owners like they did with MPS 2 - MPS2.1, that would be ok with me, even if they didn't, just getting Ozone 10 Advanced individually at a discounted upgrade price from Ozone 9 Advanced would be fine with me.

    I'm in!!!

They seem to want $49 to upgrade from Nectar 3 to Nectar 3 Plus but I can't see any page that explains what is different about them.

I already picked up SE2 so this isn't that big a upgrade for me.  I really wish they would do something about offering custom upgrade options.

Is this of any help, it goes from previous no Plus version through to latest

JRR Shop is in somewhat down territory again presently. It did appear to be back to normal briefly a few mins ago, during which time I attempted a purchase, but to no avail. The checkout process was broke as a joke, failing several times to complete just short of completing the final step. And then the site went back to being unusable again.

Following this discomforting recurrent failed checkout experience I feel compelled to strongly advise avoiding attempting to purchase anything via the JRR Shop website presently, even if the site returns to appearing functional again. Having said that, I don't know how contacting JRR's directly to get a purchase done would go.

Contacting him directly worked like a charm during the great crash, I done it a couple of times.

I had an experience like yours where everything went fine until the very end, where it just shit itself. I didn't receive any purchase stuff from JRR, but it was shown in both PayPal and CC or Bank account whichever I used at the time. I contacted JRR support and they had it sorted in no time, a little stressful, but all good in the end.

Personally I wouldn't and don't hesitate to purchase from JRR, that may change if I have a bad experience, but been using JRR for many years a no real issues.

@musical I got the channel X for free because I had all three that goes in it. That dosen't make any sense. I'd write back to them and let them know you know of several people that got it for free and if it's not free, when did that change.

Same here, I didn't know about it, but read about it here and thought can't hurt in trying. The following is a copy of my support ticket and the response,

Hi, I was just reading on a forum which seemed to say that if you owned the individual plugins
    Lindell Audio 6X-500
    Lindell Audio 7X-500
    Lindell Audio PEX-500
that you could get the Lindell Audio ChannelX at no extra cost, just enquiring if this is correct, and if so how I go about it?.

    Thanks

    It’s that bad, is it?

If you have any other decent drum vsti like BFD3, SD3, or even EZD2, I highly doubt you will stop using them, I'd be willing to bet that after the initial mess around period you will likely never touch it again.

At least that's how it is for me, BFD3 just eats it from a sound point of view, it didn't stay installed long enough for any further comparisons. To old and not enough time to be messing around with stuff, that's why I uninstalled EZ Bass as well, MODO Bass just eats it sound wize, and that's all that matters to me for my use, I have no need for all the extras, and don't want to waste any time on them, as it bass gets played in with a real bass eventually.

  10. I wish I could give back MODO Drum and take either LA Confidential or Hitmaker Synthwave for Sampletank instead.

I own everything else in the Group Buy apart from Hitmaker EDM and Hitmaker Trap and zero interest in them.

Slate VMR is VERY nice!  It's also a 500 Series format...and does a very nice job!
And, unlike Mixbox and Soundtoys, where all the plugins are "tied" to the Rack, you can use the individual
plugins that you already own in VMR, and as standalone VST's, which makes it a little more "Usable" IMO

This is what I would like for the Amplitube FX Pedals and Racks (and any other processors in IK's other products, but mainly Amplitube) just like the T-Racks processors are,

    Set them FREE😁

  13. MODO Bass is in my opinion a no brainer, I have had it since release, it immediately pushed Trilian to the sidelines, and to my ears is quite a bit better sounding than EZBass in sound quality terms, of course EZBass does much more, but just in sound, it's MODO all the way, and for me the other features of EZBass are non starters because in the end the bass will be played in via a real bass, so the sound of the place keeper bass is all I'm interested in.

As for MODO Drum, my personal opinion would be if you have another drum vsti like, BFD3, SD3 or even EZDrummer2, I would pass on MODO Drum. I got it as a freebie, and it's even more disappointing in person than it was via the sound demo's on the net, hence the reason I haven't purchased it in the past, the demo's done nothing for me, quite the opposite. BFD3 just blows it away.  I got it because there was nothing else that I didn't already own that I wanted. I'll never use it.

I joined the GB mainly to get get ST4 MAX, I already owned ST3 and everything released for it bar 3 or 4 EDM type things, I already had ST4 SE, and to be honest I was a little disappointed with ST4 MAX, in hindsight already having almost everything prior to ST4, I would have been happy with what I had and ST4 SE. I also got Miroslav 2 and the Hammond as freebies which I may get some use from, but there is nothing left to choose if the next level is reached.

Where do I find the coupon? Have sampletank max, tracks max and amplitube and I assume this would qualify (?).

Add it to your cart and it will show at checkout

It looks like all a bunch effects I've previously purchased repackaged in the lunchbox format.

    Rocky

Well you could look at it like that 😁

There are a few 'benefits' to it, depends I guess. I own everything from everything, the ability to mix and match within the one environment I have thought about over time, whether or not it's worth $149 or indeed $199, I'm not sure.

edit - If I could trade my MODO Drums that I got as a freebie in the VI GB I'd give it a go 🙂
