I picked this up for around $11 in June after watching Zo's video comparing Kush AR1, Magic Death Eye and Townhouse (see below).
It's got some nice character to it and is a worthwhile addition to the compressor arsenal. Also just noticed an update to version 1.3 when I checked (I was on 1.1).

Check your email for details on how to download the update (using Continuata Connect).
Thanks for the early heads-up on this @Fleer 👍🏻
NEW FEATURES
Half Pedaling (Lite and Full Versions): You can now perform half-pedaling using a compatible sustain pedal or other CC.
Silent Key Strikes (Lite and Full Versions): Enables non-hammered silent notes on the lowest velocity.
Sustain-Damper Sympathetic Resonance (Full Version Only): A new sympathetic resonance engine to model the behavior of notes vibrating during the release of dampers on held notes, for realistically transitioning between Dry+Sustain articulations. 3 modes for selecting the quality of this feature are located within the Details page and share association with the Half-Pedaling engine.
UPDATES
Switched the Sostenuto Pedal to CC66
Made a slight change to the DFD settings for performance gains
Modified all Kontakt/NKS Snapshots to reflect the new features
Included Legacy patches for users with Kontakt 5.3.1+
Snapshots have been updated to include the new Half-Pedaling mechanism
Removed the damper animation to ensure audio performance
BUGS
Fixed Bad Samples
Smoothed inconsistent velocities, particularly the lowest velocity layer
Fixed an issue where a glitch occurred when simultaneously activating the sustain pedal and a note
Fixed an issue where reverb was not active when loading the instrument, despite the UI showing as such
Fixed an issue where Legacy patches would not respond correctly to Dynamic and Velocity Curve adjustments
Fixed some graphical/text errors
Fixed the Multis from functioning improperly at times

Ok...so we have 30 days from today to make our picks...correct?
That’s how I read it Larry. I am sure Peter said as much further back in this thread.

Pretty much, yes
The one for String-Studio VS-3 is in C:\Program Files\Applied Acoustics Systems\String Studio VS-3\Bitmaps
All the others are in the following folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Applied Acoustics Systems\{product name}\BitmapsThanks, much appreciated.

@Promidi thanks for the information. I will give this a try.
I assume AAS's other libraries use a similar scheme for storing program artwork?

Can't remember who it was though.
@ZincT was that you?
Wasn't me Grem. I don't get much from PA these days. Trying to reduce GAS!

Interesting you mentioned MIDI Guitar for this as that's exactly what I'll be doing tonight. 😉
Do you use MG inside the Daw or outside via Loop BE?
Hey Mesh, yup it was a lot of fun. You can use it in a DAW but I just used it standalone as it can play VSTis from within the software. It also lets you scan just one vsti which is very handy when you know you have only added one plugin.
That default patch (called "Play a Low Note")...play an open low E... instant Tom Sawyer, lol. Just need to add the guitar 😁
Enjoy!

Do you have any sneak peak what will be new in O9A?
If only I did Piotr 😎
I would like the window resizing like Fleer.
What would be great is if iZotope sent Zo a pre-release copy for one of his in-depth video reviews 🤞🏻
There's a discussion over on KVR --> https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=532245&hilit=ozone+9

Got this last night and just played with some of the preset patches. Have to say I'm very happy with what I heard and totally worth the upgrade!!
Ditto. I spent ages with it noodling away via MIDI Guitar. Did the "upgrade from Session" at T&S using my loyalty points to reduce it by 10 GBP 👍🏻

about $29.00 at Time+Space for the update from V1 or V2

Thanks BD!
They have the session upgrade for 36.56 GBP inc VAT and I have 10 GBP of loyalty points which would make it around 26 GBP. That's tempting.

Nice, thanks. Not bad for 9 dollars.

I picked this up when it was on before and only had 2 duplicates.
Even so when I contacted AAS support they were happy to swap out my duplicates for sound packs that I didn't own.
AAS are a great company to deal with and one reason why I plan on spending more money with them.- 3

@ZincT I got the whole bundle a couple of years ago. Not too long. Never regretted it. In fact, back then I was trying to decide what I would get, it or the Ozone stuff (or Waves bundles, or something else) and I am glad I went for the AAS stuff. To be honest, I get more use out of UA2 and GS2 than anything else.
Cheers Grem. I know some folk don't like the UI but I'm OK with it and I really like the sound of the session version of VA-2. I definitely plan on "completing my bundle" this year 🤞🏻 I am just wondering whether to go for the VA-3 upgrade now at $49 and whether that will reduce my "complete my bundle" price during the next sale. 🤔

Edith: "for Professional Series users" so I guess for anyone with an AAS instrument
Hey Edith I have the full version of GS-2 but it's only offering me the upgrade for Session owners so I am guessing the upgrade price might be for VA-2 owners or maybe if you own more than one full product?
Every time I get the half price offer to upgrade to the full bundle something else comes along to tempt me...last time it was the iZotope MPS 2.1 upgrade followed by the AXE I/O IKM Group Buy. I've got my sights set on the bundle upgrade next time though, honest ...

It's on the AAS website now...
https://www.applied-acoustics.com/ultra-analog-va-3/
I checked my account and VA-3 upgrade for Session users is $49 (half price) - may be cheaper at the usual places in due course (JRR etc). Might be even cheaper for existing VA-2 owners. The Complete Your Bundle upgrade is currently full price but now includes VA-3. I will wait for the half price bundle upgrade again (BF maybe).

I have both of the NI Strummed Acoustics and seem to use them more than any other Acoustic Guitar plugins even though I have quite a few. They are just really easy to use and sit very nicely in the mix. The downside has always been that they are just pattern players and you cannot even add your own patterns. Picked Acoustic not only sounds great but is a good deal more flexible allowing MIDI note input.
Just reading Mark's post as I type this and it seems even more compelling! Now I have to decide whether to get it now with the voucher or wait to see if it's in the next half price sale. 🤔

My Loom2 upgrade version (the only version I have) doesn't seem to include Tapestry as the presets aren't in Loom's preset folder (I'll be copying them into it, as per the install instructions).
The free Tapestry download version found on the fingermarks website also includes NKS patches :
http://fingermarks.co.uk/music2.htm#Tapestry
Where is the Touch Loops AIR Bonus Pack ? Can't find it on AIR's website.
I received an email from JRR with the Loom II product license and at the end of the email it said..."Free with your purchase, the Tapestry expansion pack and Touch Loops AIR Bonus Pack: -" with links to each item.
Incidentally I already had Loom installed and Loom II seems to have replaced it but all of the Loom 1 patches are available under a Loom 1 Legacy folder.

No brainer, thanks PaulP.
The upgrade includes Tapestry expansion pack and Touch Loops AIR Bonus Pack.

Looking good and it's Player compatible for those who don't have full Kontakt.
