I am not aware of any AI plugins by IKM. FWIW.. AT 5 is pretty good. Allows for some really interesting sound creations. You could use it like a rock and roll tool. But you could also do really interesting stuff that verges into sound design with stringed instrument. I quite like it. I use the there amp sim option and do all sorts of weird mix and match stuff to get odd sounds out of it.

I am still sticking to 17.. lots of time left.. and i think there will be a mad dash at the end again, @Peter - IK Multimedia kick the spam bucket a bit.. 🙂

yeah. i have had fender 2 and been using it. its been great. i picked up fender 1 collection as it was a freebie i didnt have. i heard the VIR technology made it sound better. I used to have a vibroking i used live. the other guy in my band had a princeton. i used to use both. unfortunately, neither of the emulations sounds very convincing, even with the new AT 5 engine and VIR.

i picked up and tired the fender 1 collection. sounds cool. sounds bluesy. i ain't hearing the realness of the VIR tech in it. sounds like a sim and not a real amp. i was not able to dial in sounds i am used to on amps. but then again, i am a big fender guy and use the real amps. and i guess a bit of a fender snob .. 😞

Man.. i am really hoping some reseller puts MODO Bass on sale somewhere. That is the only way I would consider jumping in on this GB again at a higher level. They had MODO SE for $40 at beginning on GB and then nothing since. 😞

back in 90s i had no clue about synths. i was geetar guy .

30 years ago, every smokey pawn shop on church street had old 80s analogue synths piled high to the ceiling. the old pawnshop owners couldn't sell them to save their lives and were begging for someone to take them off their hands for peanuts. today, those synths go for 10's of 000's. hindsight is 20/20... but back then, if you were there ..you were just as dumb as the next guy.

it might be. but i look at it as what sort of ROI can I get on this. trust me. i aint making 100x more on music with or without that Acoustica plugin.

I don't know man. For my needs, the $1 version to tinker around with is good enough. But one thing I picked up from my reading list.. "Many analog signal processors have software plug-in versions where the screen image of the plug-in is nearly identical to the faceplate of the hardware device. Sometimes, because the two devices look identical, it may be tempting to think that they also sound identical. Unfortunately, they do not always sound alike but it is possible to be fooled into thinking the sound is replicated as perfectly as well as the visual representation of the device, especially if we do not have the analog version for comparison. Suffice it to say there is not always a direct translation between analog electronics and the computer code that performs the equivalent digital signal processing, and there are various ways to create models of analog circuits; thus we have differences in sound quality. agreed!! i was holding off as I thought it was a pack for Queen fans. but it turns out the collection has lots of really great tools to make original sounds with.
