  1. I enjoyed my short time away and am back, ready to go on more adventures with all of you.
Join me at 3:30 PM EST as I feature a few titles from Spitfire Audio  (@Spitfire Team) during the last moments of this year's Spring Sale.
I was very interested to experience Albion V Tundra as well as featuring Olafur Arnalds Composer Toolkit. Of course, there might be a few surprises along the way and I look forward to answering your questions during the live chat.
I look forward to seeing you there.

  2. It is here and it does sound very nice, rich low end and should  be here for some time as I enroll it into Celebrate Recovery. The funniest thing was as I walked away, I thought I heard Bob Dylan! 😎
I continue enjoy seeing the Soundiron engine and learning more with each release that utilizes it. I think my first library that used it was their Didgeridoo

    Stay tuned 📺

I think the samples belong to Impact Soundworks, but they may include it in Total Studio 4 Max.  I'm just speculating...so who knows...

The Resonator was developed by Tracy Collins over at Indiginus. There is also a Kontakt version available but SampleTank adds the built in strumming and pattern engine which is really nice for this title.

@cclarry, don’t forget the new FAME Studio reverb and Tascam emulations could also be included

It's been a long time since I  updated my Focusrite driver. Can someone remind me -- do you uninstall the old driver before running the new installer? I can't find where they answer this question on their support site.

I ran the installer and it removed the older drivers and updated.
You do need a full system shutdown and restart to refresh but everything is working as expected.

  5. Albion ONE was the first Spitfire Audio library that I ever purchased outside of the then KONTAKT version of LABS that were donations are at the time before they were discontinued.

This Albion has a lot of hidden gems, especially some of the legacy strings that some of the Orig!nals were derived from. Might be fun to journey through this on a livestream. 😎

Wait, you know I'm a fan of your videos too, @Simeon Amburgey. I love your videos. It's a blast to watch you enjoy a library and just fall in love with patches -- it reflects the joyful child in all of us when we fall in love with instruments /sounds. Your videos are really great at that -- you just have to be you to keep them enjoyable. I think that's real secret to your YouTube success, you're just being yourself and it works.

Although, to be completely candid, when I buy the same library and it sounds greatly inferior,  although that can be completely due to quality of the guy playing it (me compared to you!), not the libraries themselves.

Thank you so much, that really does mean a lot to me, you get it. 🤓

@Simeon Amburgey has done an excellent video with the MP2.

This brings back a lot of memories for sure as it was one of my first videos on the channel.
Philharmonik 2 will always be a classic. I remember when I first hear of the original Miroslav Vitous Akai Sample Library CDs.

I just saw a 2010 Sound On Sound article that wanted $999 for the strings library!!!!!

  8. There is nothing like sharing these adventures with you, everyone is a new experience.  ABYSS from Tracktion Audio and  Dawsome  is such a deep virtual synth. Bunker Samples has such a unique personality infused into their instruments. VSL Celestial Strings is so lush and free, what a gift. I also took a quick look at Soundiron's Hyperion Solo Violin, which had some surprises of its own.

The music did indeed take us to some fun and unexpected places and I am always amazed when that happens.

Thanks to everyone for their confidence and support.

  9. Since VSL's move to iLok there have been a lot of things to get used to.
This was a section from Monday's livestream where I went through the process live and it was indeed an experience.
Thankfully this feature has been edited some to help with time. I hope you find it helpful.

Be on the lookout for more Free Instruments from VSL.
