  1. I too am a fan of AD2. I have most the ADpaks and MIDI packs which I obtained from several purchases of the Custom Collections (the bundle that allows you to select 3 ADpaks, 3 MIDIpaks, 3 Kitpiece Paks of your choice). What I like most about AD2, compared to other drum VIs, is the huge variety and quality of MIDI loops, the way in which you can easily and extensively modify them, the large variety of kits/timbres, the plugin's CPU-friendliness and stability, and the relatively low-cost to own (I only paid between $55-60 for each of those Custom Collections). With just a few 3rd-party plugins you can create some really great drum tracks (and I'm not even a drummer). The only thing I wish for is the ability to increase the size of the GUI. Thanks to Kamikaze (below), I now know that we can resize the GUI!
  2. If the next one is a paid version, I will gladly pay to support continued development. Not only is the feature set great, but it's so easy to use. It's obvious that a lot of thought went into the design.
  3. Wow, all this new stuff and the update is free? Sweet!
  4. Some of these are new to me, so I thought I'd post the link here... https://www.sageaudio.com/blog/audio-plugins/top-11-free-reverb-plugins.php 1. Roboverb – Kushview 2. MVerb2020 – SocaLabs 3. KR-Reverb FS – KResearch 4. TAL Reverb 4 – Togu Audio Line 5. Harmonic Reverb – ChromaDSP 6. Schroeder – DiscoDSP 7. MConvolutionEZ – Melda Audio 8. Panagement 2 – Auburn Sounds 9. 5. Oh great, now I have to watch the whole thing...
  6. Each plugin is a work of art. I had to stop using Pro-R because rather than applying reverb to my track, I'd end up staring at the beautiful display for hours. 😀
  7. This is truly bizarre! Have you tried 1) moving the Free Angels folder to a different drive, 2) adding the new drive/folder to the Soundpaint scan path, and 3) re-scanning?
  8. Yeah, me too. When someone says "gem" it raises my expectations. Then again, when the gem is given to me for free, it lowers it right back down, so no complaints. 😉

    8DIO Soundpaint

The fact that Soundpaint can see some libraries but not others in the same main folder suggests this could be a permissions issue with the Free Angels subfolder. Is "Read" and "Read & execute" allowed for that folder?

Actually I should have posted the following instead so that you can verify all files are present, including those in the "Parts" folder. If they're all there, maybe try a re-install?

Maybe the problem is an incomplete installation. Do you have all 72 files shown below?

I'm not sure how to help other than to suggest posting your issue here https://vi-control.net/community/threads/soundpaint-new-free-library-coming-tomorrow-and-more.95667/ . Troels Folmann (from 8dio) or one of the many other users might have a solution for you. Cheers...

The new version (v1.0.2)? If so, it loads right up on my system.
  16. Are you sure that the folder you installed it to is listed here:
  17. Free Angels would have made a good Halloween release. Some of the sounds are pretty spooky.

I installed it (took about 3minutes) and am using it now. No mess at all!
  19. The addition of Free Angels unlocked my first few Hidden Gems.

Sounpaint has been updated to version 1.02. You can install it from within the app.
  21. I guess it might be wise to set aside some money for additional storage...
  22. The Soundpaint version is available for d/l now...
  23. Very bad!!! Yes, they should have learned from that. And yet they advertise it as an exciting new developmnet for us. Which makes it worse than the eLicenser. My answer is: a moron (completely untethered to the world of modern music making). If this means that I lose the ability to use my current version of Cubase (ver 11) in perpetuity (b/c I will never upgrade again!), then it becomes a Melville-esque scenario:
