  1. Thanks. I just added it to my "plugins to get" list. 😉
  2. What was surprising and annoying to me is that initial registration/authorization of my S/N to my iLok worked the first time (I received the izotope 'rock on' hand sign).
  3. No. After entering the S/N I obtained from Plugin Boutique, the izotope Product Portal registered my license in my iLok. I then installed the software and, when that completed, was asked to register again (which I tried doing but failed b/c I had just done that). Then I loaded the plugin in Cubase and a pop-up appeared saying I had to register (third time). So I tried doing it to my iLok, but that failed (second failure), so I unticked the iLok box and tried again and it finally worked. After all that I was greated by a poorly-designed GUI with a really crappy preset browser (compared to version 1). So at this point I'm done with izotope; I have everything I want from them and am not willing to go through all this hassle when there are so many talented developers out there. And while I'm complaining, WTH happend to the Plugin Boutique site? It used to be so easy to make a purchase there; they were my primary choice for plugins. But now you have to click, click, click your way through numerous superflous screens just to buy something. Why?!?
  4. Great plugin concept. Tried the demo: severe latency and instalbility in Cubase 11/Win 10. Uninstalled. May try again next year.
  5. Dreadful GUI and workflow compared to version 1 and it required three authorizations (two in the 'installer' and one in Cubase). Goodbye izotope...
  6. Thanks. I read all that online too but didn't see any mention of the synths that were sampled. The description is very generic which makes me think these sounds have been recycled from an older collection. If so, I don't want to waste drive space duplicating what I already have.
  7. I wonder if this library contains new samples or recycled ones; I can't tell from its webpage.
  8. Download: https://www.bespokesynth.com/#contact Info: https://www.audiopluginsforfree.com/bespoke/ Pretty picture:
  9. Can you download all these games or do they come on a DVD? Also, do they all run properly under Windows 10?
  10. Lo-fi seems to be the 'thing' these days, so many developers are jumping on this wagon. I too like (and use) Tape MELLO-FI . Dirty Tape on the other hand completely lacks character IMO, so I deleted it.
  11. For those on the fence about getting this one, it's kinda meh.
  12. Strike two on my daily freebie grab: first Dirty Tape Softube and now DSPPlug Titan Gate.
  13. Problems like these make it less likely that I'll visit and buy anything from Softube in the future. It would have been better for them not to offer a freebie than to offer one and make it really frustrating to get. Sheesh!
  14. This update is a *huge* disappointment! The three main problems with this platform are, as others have noted, 1) the need to go online to render voices, 2) voice realism, and 3) usability (my biggest gripe). But instead of addressing these issues they wasted time introducing a vocoded-voice which can easily be created with many widely available, lost-cost, 3rd-party FX plugins. Why?!? Meanwhile the editor is still absolutely primitive compared to that of Synthesizer V. Emvoice lacks such basic functionality as full-screen zooming and note identification so you're constantly zooming in/out when editing. I find it's easier to just edit the MIDI data in my DAW and then read it back into Emvoice. They should have spent time adding features like the ability to read in text-files containing your lyrics and basic editor functionality such as scaling note-length independently of neighboring notes. As it stands now, if two notes are connected, you cannot break them apart and shorten one; you can only adjust the shared onset/offset time. So instead you have to delete one of the notes, add a new above/below the other note, make the new note short enough to prevent it from getting reconnected to the existing one, and then drag it down/up to the correct note value (which involves counting notes [C#, D, D#, E,...] while dragging the new note b/c the paino roll keys are not labeled). Needless to say I don't bother with all this hassle so I just do that editing in my DAW as well. And so you're constantly jumping back-and-forth between Emvoice and your DAW to get things right. It's a *real* drag. The plugin also periodically crashes my DAW (Cubase 11 / Windows 10) which makes the experience even more frustrating, time-consuming, and inspiration-killing. And don't even get me started on the timbre of Jay's and Lucy's voices; neither is usable in most genres. Even at $59 I will *not* buy another voice. I've lost faith in this developer. Time to switch to Synthesizer V...
  15. You can get it here: https://github.com/s-oram/Grace/releases/ Read about it here: https://bedroomproducersblog.com/2015/09/14/grace-sampler-free/ And see it here:
  16. SPARKLE was a Focusrite Sound Collective freebie last July?

  18. Okay, but please do not refer to this plug-in format as "the clap" as in: "did you get the clap yet?" Just saying...
  19. In the absence of an actual "complete your suite sale" you can try contacting iZotope's sales department and asking for a discount. If you already have most of the items in a bundle and just want to update to the latest version, they may offer you a respectable discount (if you ask nicely). 😉
  20. I read "Izotope Complete Your Suite Sale" and assumed that Izotope was finally going to allow us to just add the few items we were missing from our collection, so I went looking for a deal like that. However what I saw at JRR instead were deals that have been around for months now (like the one below which was recently $149).
  21. It appears these are the same deals that have been available for the last few months (and they're not even as good as the ones offered around BF). 😕
  22. So it's part of their new subliminal cut approach ... they're going to make you update subconciously (as though innate GAS was not enough).
  23. Waves' achieved this goal in ver 13 plugins; the amount of RAM used by WavesLocalServer was greatly reduced from ~125MB to ~25MB. But loading it at system startup is a step backwards.
  24. Why is this necessary?
