  1. I went to audioting.com like he said, nothing there.
  2. Did the Bee Gees ever play CBGB's? Or North Korea?

    Time to Wake

Oh crap, best of luck on that, hopefully it's something easy to fix. We have all been there! Good luck

I like your song, and the vocals! The snare I think needs to be dropped when you are singing. cheers, -Tom

    A WORD

Cool tune and cool vid. Right click on your video, "Stats for nerds" - YouTube gave you the crappier avc codec. You can force YouTube to give you the better vp9 codec (clearer, less blur, better resolution) if you feed YouTube a file with a format bigger that 1080p. can your video exporter crank out a 1440p file? or a 2K file? If so, try uploading that to YouTube, then check (after a half hour or so) the "stats for Nerds" and see if you got the vp9 codec. Here's an annoying vid, there's lots of other ones - cheers! -Tom
  6. I friggin' love this. Don't change a thing. Cleaning up a bit of bass in the guitar might ruin it. Well done! Added to my Soundcloud playlist - thanks! -Tom
  7. I listened on headphones, it's got a really nice vibe, a bit of country chill. Right away I noticed the severe hard panning and I don't know if it adds, for me it's kinda distracting. Horses for courses. You might start in right away =from the top with bass and drums, as for a few bars there in the beginning I had no idea what time it was. The rhythm guitar on the left could do with a bit of reverb perhaps? Good vocals for sure, and the bass is very nice in the mix. cheers, -Tom
  8. I think it's a "jazz chord" when it has a second in it, up top somewhere, and you call it a ninth.
  9. Thanks, good to know, but I was hoping to aim a little lower than the personal ear mold variety. Curious, how many drivers do those have?
  10. For general use, and some mix checks, I've been using generic Sony earbuds with bass boost. Thinking about an upgrade to in ear monitors. More drivers. Seems like 59 bucks and up. Heard about the KZ ZSN. Don't want to buy crap. Wired is just fine, no bluetooth. Any audiophile recommendations for IEM's? Thanks!
  11. I just hope it's overpriced and proprietary.
  12. Whenever I start cooking a meal, I finish it, the same day. I don't have a kitchen full of a hundred started meals in varying stages of undoneness.
  13. I can hear the calfskins vibrating . Those are some sweet percussions. And if you re-amp them . . . then they are repercussions. I liked the dreamy quality, very noice! cheers, -Tom
  14. Look what you done and started! It's a cool vibe for sure and I appreciate your clean guitar chording and tone. The bass part was super supportive, yet maybe a bit "roomy" in the mix? I agree it's wanting a lead instrument of some kind, at some point. Did you knock down the fingersqueaks? Is so, you might let a little more back in? It would likely give you even more air in your already-pretty-cool guitar tone. good one! cheers, -Tom
  15. These days, that kid would sue the school! I bet he'd have a lawyer . . . . . . on retina.
  16. It's quirky and I wanted to hate it but . . . I just couldn't. It's simple, yet inventive. Mixwise you might look at how much the organ patch is masking the vocal. I couldn't hear all the lyrics - you might selectively drop volume on the organ patch when you have lyrics. Your organ is panned which also moves the listening target away from the vocal? I dunno. The organ might sit better in the mix if it has a fixed pan position and it wouldn't mask the vocal as much? Your reverb on the vocal is returning maybe more high end than it could, it makes the vocal a bit ringy. My .02 cents, probably all just fake news, so nevermind. cheers, -Tom
  17. Hey I like your videos and thanks for watching them! But for this one in particular apologies because the title shames me if I watch it 🤔 and I have more than enough cognitive dissonance already. I very much appreciate the reviews you do . . . Cheers, and good luck with it! -Tom
  18. you really pulled this off, great job! Guitars are so clean and perfect. cheers, -Tom

    Cop The Feel

Well done! And may you long harvest the well-deserved rewards of bitter regret. 😅
  20. I think this was used on that hit song "Rolling in the Deep"

Forgive me, Father Bapu, it's been 9 days since I've bought anything musically related. My new year's resolution standing strong, 9 days in.
  22. Congrats on following my time-tested method . . . the strategic placement of clutter to enhance wave dispersion. I looked at your pics and I think the wall behind your main desk is still blank and too reflective. Who wants to help him pull down that monitor bridge, hang up a curtain or better yet a carpet with a cool design, and then put everything back up again??? It's not as good as foam, but this rug is 100 bucks, is 5x8, and would dull the splash from the wall behind your monitors: https://rugs.com/multi-5x8-theia-area-rug-6281934?rt=bbsize Can't guarantee it wasn't woven in a sweatshop somewhere, but it would look hella cool up there. You could also put it up kind of bunched on the wall, with a few intentional undulations, for better dispersal characteristics.
