  1. Black Magic Woman / Gypsy Queen - Santana
  2. I like "Yeh, Yeh" much better, but I thought "Bonnie & Clyde" worked better with "Derek & Clive". I liked the double association.
  3. The Ballad Of Bonnie And Clyde - Georgie Fame (whose real name is Clive Powell)
  4. Maybe I'll just honk on the sax
  5. My MS history: DOS (I hated it, I have typos built into my fingers - standard equipment) Win 3.1 Win 95 Win 98SE XP Win 8 (upgraded to Win 10) Win 10 I did buy a Win7 machine for use on stage when I dropped a 7 year old XP machine and broke the hinge. The hinge part was no longer being made on the old machine. I don't have a lot of experience with 7 so I didn't count it in my list. It's just a fancy mp3 player on stage for me, so I haven't explored much of anything on it. It seems OK though. BTW, the other 2002 XP ThinkPad (the one I didn't drop) is still cranking like it was new. Insights and incites by Notes
  6. I skipped Vista. Thankfully, I didn't need a new computer when that version was released. I wasn't so luck with Win8
  7. I'll send you the 'bill' 😁 via the 'web'
  8. R.I.P Vista. My oldest is an XP computer. I use it to run the Win95 version of Master Tracks Pro when I need that app. That computer is like residents in an old folks home. Mostly sleeping, coming to whenever I need it, but it's slow.
  9. Are those two planning to get 'down'?
  10. Any Place I Hang My Hat Is Home - Johnny Mercer (He wrote the lyrics, Harold Arlen wrote the music to this jazz standard)
  11. The marina has an office where the dockmaster manages the boat slips. It has telephones, computers, copy machines, desks, and a lot of paperwork hanging around. It gets us out of our tropical environment. ;) Actually, we schmooze. Our regular audience members are like extended family to us. Some of them have been coming to see us for decades and we enjoy their company. Notes
  12. I had to look up the definition of Crunge in the urban dictionary: the transformation twitch when going from sober to stoned so.. Let's Go Get Stoned - Ray Charles Joe Cocker did a nice cover, but I like the studio Ray Charles version better. Notes
  13. Double reed. You're asking for trouble no matter which orifice you use.
  14. Aaarrrrggggh. "Shiver me timbers, leave a tip or it's Davy Jones' Locker for ye!" Notes
  15. It's the eased load-in/pack out gig we ever had. We do this one at least once a month in the summer and at least twice a month in the winter. The RV park has 900 sites, and in the winter 600 of them are filled with French Canadians, and these people like to party. We play from 6 to 9 PM and at 9 they aren't ready to go home. Park rules say quiet time is at 10PM so we are often bribed to play another hour. After the year off due to COVID, it'll be good to be back. Here is one we did for 12 running years before COVID. I think we are going to move the party to another outdoor venue. The new owners are not too enthusiastic about having more than a single guitarist, and the new club is actually offering more money. The Navy SEALS were born here in Ft. Pierce, and this is the original guard house. It's historic. All the stuff on the wall behind us was left by SEALS who come here every year for their annual muster. It's always an honor to perform for them I love my job. Notes
  16. It's tough, but somebody has to do it ;)
  17. Our last office and our next office I love my job! Notes
