  1. Update: $55 at Thomann (was $29 on JRR) https://www.thomannmusic.com/arobas_music_guitar_pro_8.htm Anyone enjoys this program?
  2. You rather want Blanclights? ⚠️ Moderator note: Dave ran away after this "joke", but we will track him and hunt him down.
  3. We'd like to see a list of programs that are installed on your computer right now.
  4. I love those all-in-one vintage workstations.
  5. Oh, I really like loops. But I miss ACID-era breakbeat loops sampled from vinyls, D&B/jungle loop CD-ROMs, and such. I don't hear them anymore even if they're still being sold, because I can't tolerate trap/house loops at all when I'm digging for a sample.

    Absynth is Over?

What a dumb move. 2000s nostalgia is on the rise, yet NI is still pushing 70s/80s synths instead. They obviously lost some bright minds when 100 people were laid off from the company.
  7. https://audioassault.mx/collections/plugins/products/ahm-5050 Use the code: AAFIFTY
  8. Use the code: 25offnowplz Speed Metal Drums and OSDM Drums are also $14.25 each. https://ugritone.com/collections/deals
  9. https://store.steampowered.com/app/12210/Grand_Theft_Auto_IV_The_Complete_Edition/ Might be a good game to escape from the real world, without requiring a big gaming rig. I will play the game for the first time.
  10. That's the strategy in my mind. I also use drum VSTs to learn drumming patterns and such. Last 16 hours for the UJAM Silk discount, by the way.
  11. I want to upgrade to Kontakt 7 for 50 bucks. How old I'm going to be?
  12. Oh, Kontakt 7 is announced already. How much would be the upgrade price from 6 to 7 for Kontakt only?
  13. I recently got a laptop with an RTX 3050. While a laptop 3050 is as half performant as a desktop 3060, it can still handle AAA games at 1080p with high settings. However, the smallest AAA game today eats up 100 GB of space. That's too much of a compromise for me. Ryzen's integrated GPU would be more than enough to play awesome indie games or a bit older AAA titles. It could also handle extra screen very well.

    Deal of the Day!

Hold on! You can get Sonar Platinum for only 499 bucks here. https://www.jrrshop.com/cakewalk-sonar-platinum
  15. Glad to hear you felt that way. I'm in the process of migrating to another computer, so it's gonna be a while until I can re-embrace Iris, and write a thorough review.
  16. You know what, I will give Iris another go when I have time. If it's so praised here, maybe I overlooked something.
  17. Ain't doin nutn but providing an honest feedback according to my experience with it. That's why we're sharing deals on a message board. Plugin Boutique already lists deals, but no product over there has less than four stars out of five. Your wallet loves me. 💰💰💰
  18. This synth is just a waste of space, bandwidth, and carbon emission. I'd better spend that $10 on a dozen of kazoos.
  19. I don't know Steven, I even read the whole BioTek 2 documentation to find something that would justify its $200 original price tag, or $100 on sale, until this JRR thing. If it was down to $24 from somewhere north of forty, I might be like, aight it's one cool synth. Maybe I'm just overthinking. Maybe it has man hands?
