You can design an interesting album cover, visualize your song with illustrations reacting to audio levels, make a lyric video, or create a full-blown animated music video using only Blender. UI has been redesigned in version 3 for a better user experience. It might look daunting at first, but it's like DAWs, you only use the features you need in a project. I recommend getting started with the famous Donut tutorial by Blender Guru.

I have tried the strumming engines in AcousticSamples, AAS Strum, MusicLab RealGuitar; while they're cool for quickly adding guitar accompaniments to a triack, I always got better results by just playing each note normally on the keyboard. I found two fake guitar scribbles I recorded few months. I'm PM'ing them to you.

Thanks Peter. I'm only being harsh towards products and companies when I feel there is a need, so people don't waste their hard earned bucks. But sometimes, in some places, people act cruel against others to defend a company. That disappoints me. Thankfully, this virtual avenue hasn't been one of those places since I joined. I'll look into Orange Tree. I currently have only Guitar Pro installed for music on my primary computer, still I don't have much time to use it these days. It's difficult to find a piece of software to stick with. Glad to hear you're happy with OTS stuff. Which OTS VIs you prefer for strumming chords?

Hmm, that's a simplified UI paradigm. Big background image + flat vector knobs. We can adapt to that.

Songsterr is cool, but it's recurring payment. What if government cancels my credit card? What if a war breaks out between my country and Songsterr's? It has to be opensource, or at least, perpetual license with offline activation!

I've also sneaked into your SoundCloud and listened to a few tracks; very solid production right there! We have kind of a similar taste in music and vocal style. Couldn't believe you played the drums on keyboard as well! They're very well arranged and performed, revealing your experience with the drums, but also shows your keyboard competency. Are you happy with Cakewalk for such heavy MIDI workflow?
