What's all the fuss about synth sample libraries despite the abundance of real hardware and software synthesizers on the market?

RYM2612 is only for emulating those 16-bit game sounds, or is it useful for fulfilling our day-to-day regular FM synthesis needs?

It emulates the analog mixing console pretty well. Kind of like Sonar ProChannel with less features but more intuitive interface.

It took me a long while to realize that Mixbus is NOT a good DAW if you need to use the timeline a lot.

The Crown has high, low, and clean channels. Shibalba has lead and clean channels. Is lead channel suitable for distorted rhythm guitar?

Ah, so ReAmp Studio is actually a collection of their old amp sims? Shibalba is good choice, then! I'd prefer one good amp rather than a bunch of mediocre ones.

I'm slowly learning my lesson, though. I ended up buying only two virtual guitars during this Black Friday. 49 a pop for NI guitars seem to be great value. Glad they worked well for you.

I could have just bought NI guitars, then. I'm sitting on top of $500 worth of guitar and bass plugins, in addition to a real bass and guitar with FX pedals after I got when I was frustrated with virtual ones, but never learned. Which NI guitars are your favorite?

Good ol' Wizoo. I had a lot of fun with their Darbuka and Latigo plugins until I lost the CDs. I'm still using many AIR Music Tech plugins today.
