To me, molding the tone of the Bass WITHOUT the cabinet sounds stellar and full. No need for cabs (which I find change the tone in a muddy way, even if this one is so much better than I've heard before). Meaty/body and cuts through the mix (once I get my tone, I lower the volume 20 db or more, and you can hear it perfectly).

So I fked up? Sigh, the one you told me was great is EQ 495, not the 84, lol, too bad, I got confused because in the video showing them off is the same guy, lol.

Yes, tried them all already. Paralax was kind of meh, and I hate distortion (the kind of distortion that comes within it). For distortion, the new Kush sounds amazing (on the video). If I want to add distortion for mixing, Vertigo VSM-3 is sooo much better (Plugin Alliance).

Also, I think of it this way: I think guitars and basses weren't meant to be plugged in to an interface, so in my case they sound muddy, lifeless, because perhaps they don't sound like going through and amp/preamp stage as in a real guitar combo or guitar amp, so this Darkglass makes it feel/sound like it's going through one. Just as the Guitar Amps (neuraldsp) make guitars sound as if they go throuh a real amp. It's like suddenly they signal has life into it.

Abasi clean amp sounds pretty good and different. But when it comes to gain/dist/overdrive I can't make up my mind (although they all sound better than Nembrini by a mile... ) sigh...

Ok, tested them all! So far the one I liked the most is...... DARKGLASS! ULTRA! (I don't need the Drive section though, or just a touch, "clean" section sounds amazing for my dumb bass sound, it makes it alive /works as great as the Ignite Amps free Bass amp vst SHB-1, but cleaner). Once I found my tone, I duplicated the instance so they stacked, 1st instance 100% of course, 2nd instance just 7% mixed in, needed a little more highs or something. AWESOME.

Where do I turn off the reverb in Abasi? Or the reverb is baked in? And that's why it sounds so good? lol
