  1. I think when EastWest puts their orchestra on sale that price is hard to beat if one wants to be content. I'd be afraid to take inventory of all of my orchestra sounds right now and I rarely use any of it.
  2. He stopped carrying them for a short period some time ago. He's also on the slow side maintaining the site. I use to buy mine from Koby. He's removed all Waves. BTW there was also a vendor called Waves Universe. I could think of many titles to rename that site.
  3. https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=262178&start=49875
  4. I'm guessing sarcasm. Hopefully no stuffed shirts think Arturia is too loyal to its users.
  5. The updated Waves Central sucks, bring back the old one.
  6. I know but those are nice sounds for one starting out with orchestra.
  7. Former vendors do not make great friends. See some of JrR's comments on KVR.
  8. That's not the point. It's an annoyance opening up a system without the makeshift dongle and sets off a DAW reminding you many times it's not plugged. The moral of the story is their......licensing...........SUCKS!
  9. I'd only go for their stuff made in Kontakt. Unfortunately the Originals were not 50% off.
  10. Usually I have to buy 3 licenses of a Waves product. I aint doin that USB drive either. I have 3 iLoks and those never move where I can hardly find most of my USB drives.
  11. Hoarding orchestra libraries is no different than hoarding plugins. I guess the + to Cinesamples is the Kontakt format and has no machine limit like the other 2. With Kontakt you can remove libraries much easier than other samplers.
  12. They will probably give away some more plugins to make up for it.
  13. According to the Pro Tools newsletter the popular answer is no since Waves is a single machine license and would require 2 subs if you also do work on a laptop,
  14. They wont be sending out sales pitches.
  15. The worst part of Waves being on everyone's soon to go away sheisse liste is missing Fleer's commentary. Also everyone to make sure you unsubscribe to Wave's mailing list.
  16. Plus they seem to never get the DAW right with all of those updates.
  17. Hopefully IK never goes that route but they are also in the hardware business. If Waves reverts back I doubt there will be enough forgiveness. Nothing like giving the end user a large middle finger. Another reason for them not to revert back is stuffed shirts wont give up their pride. We often overlook the plugins in our DAWs. What is also overlooked is now there will be an increase of piracy. Hackers like challenges. Small developers are where it's at. See Boz, TGR, Melda, and of course Fab Filter.
  18. Photoshop/Lightroom was $10. There are probably more people in your neighborhood who use that than a DAW. Stuffed shirts thought "hey let's try that". I could see if Waves did a $29 a month sub to access everything some would go for it. Who knows maybe the rent to own is the nest frontier. BTW that's done with our credit cards anyway. Splice offered rent to own.
  19. On sale as well. A developer worthy of plugin hoarding. BTW how many developers would spend time to fix a plugin to work in Bandlab.
  20. You don't know the meaning until you've heard me play a violin.
  21. I like Riffer. I can't complete the Suite for this price direct. BTW their products have lifetime free updates.
