  1. It's slightly annoying in the updater. I might not mind if they had a button in the sidebar for promotions just under the one for updates. It is just intrusive in the plugin.
  2. This product is all about the Phil Collins drum sound. Yes it is a one trick pony but it's not like they are trying to convince anyone otherwise.
  3. I'm not into all the deep deathy metal styles that they have in their MIDI packs, but the NWOBHM and Heartland Rock MIDI sets are pretty good, as well as some of the punk ones.
  4. In that thread, ED was saying that they had good feedback about that feature. I think maybe it's time to give them our feedback on their forum.
  5. Most of which contain no useful information because they have turned into food fights over payment plans.
  6. I'm also seeing Ignition Keys updated, but no release info.
  7. You could have set it up to replace the current instrument if you wanted. Unfortunately they made it the default to add to the rack.
  8. I don't think it's worth the time to download, much less $49. I'll admit I am not familiar with the Model 120, but this sounds more like an AWE-32 era acoustic piano soundfont than what most people would think of as a Wurlitzer. The decay sounds a bit off to me as well. The Wurli from Dash/Wusik's EVE from 20 years ago is significantly better.
  9. Android has terrible latency problems though.
  10. That's pretty much what all of their demos for all of their products sound like (even for the Mello-V set), so you just might be right about it being damn good for those genres.
  11. No, but I never bought into the hype surrounding that one anyway. Just because that one guy had that one stupid song with it...
  12. The sounds are not bad, but the interface is pretty wretched. On top of that, most of the patches have useful names such as "PPG Wave 000 A"
  13. I wouldn't go as far as calling myself a victim of his business products. I bought into a few group buys and thought it was fair value for the time. You also have to remember that pre financial-crisis there weren't that many players and even things like Dimension Pro had an MSRP of $359 at the time. So a $39 group buy seemed like a steal. And until he ported to 64 bit everything worked fairly well. There's always been drama, but in the early days a lot of it was brushed aside because he had a decent product at a decent price. His issues got worse as well as the products. Wusik will fail primarily because his products have not been able to keep up with the market. Even if William Kafelz hadn't poisoned his brand with his behavior, he would still be having many of the problems he is having.
  14. If you've been looking at stem separators, but haven't bought one yet, this article could save you a bunch of money We tested 5 of the best stem separation software tools (and the best one was free)
  15. This fails to install for me.
  16. You're not alone. I found myself down to 3 authorizations as well.
  17. I'm not really impressed by this. Then again I've noticed that a lot of musicals coming out lately, excluding jukebox musicals, don't have memorable songs. Maybe that's what they were going for?
  18. It would be nice to see Sonar eventually on that. Of course it would have been nice if they had functionality to export P5 to Sonar.
  19. Recently we have seen a wave of updates to Kontakt libraries for the NKS2 standard, which requires Kontakt 7.6 Here are the latest Kontakt Factory Library Hypha.
  20. I just downloaded the installer and when I highlighted the CreativeFX bundle it was selected, so I am guessing it will be part of that once it gets out of beta.
