  1. Still just me? This step scrolling is too aggressive.
  2. Try pressing "SHIFT+A" Also check if all read buttons are off.
  3. You can change the background and foreground in the inspector view. OR You can also change this in Preferences >Customization >Color.
  4. Thanks @Noel Borthwick Dont know how that happened. I never select this feature. Seems to work fine again. ☺
  5. Inputs.mp4 Inputs.mp4 When routing your drum outs to an Audio Track. As seen in the video.
  6. For some reason they are independent when all selected even though they move together.
  7. Oh. 😊 So there's no way this might change in the future?
  8. I don't think this is what @micv meant. I too find the way the envelope works in CbB to be annoying. To be clear: there's nothing wrong with it's functionality, it works as it's suppose to. When you select multiple nodes to move at once. There are times it does not move simultaneously in value and find that it's off by 0.2dB, OR, 0.1dB, which i find odd. I developed the habbit to check each and every node properties, to make sure their values are the same. It's frustrating when this happens later in the mix when you make changes. Then there's also those times when it moves nodes that was not selected - making changes to nodes at the top, when you're changing values at the bottom of the envelope.
  9. Yeah! That's how I created those FX outs. Though, I get what you're saying now, after reading over your replies again.
  10. Do you mean something like this? Its only Bus FX with Automation. Bus Fx-Bus Fx.mp3 I'm just trying to understand.
  11. I too am in the world of leasing tracks and tv, where clients mainly ask for tracksouts. I'm with @Noel Borthwick on this one. Why is this still a discussion? It's right there in front of your eyes when you export your final mix. Nowhere near am I meaning any of this in a negative way. Cakewalk does and handle this extremely seamless Cakewalk gives you the flexibility to do this from two options. I normally do this with "Bounce to Tracks" and when i'm ready to export: I set my Source Category to "Tracks" and my Channel Format to "Follow Source." Reason why I don't choose "Clips" as my Source Category in the Export Dialogue Box: Cakewalk does not rename clips when you rename your Tracks. So, if you forget to go up to tracks and select Copy Track names to Clip names (which I normally forget to do seeing that in my mind this needs to be done automatically by the DAW when you rename your tracks - that clips should follow) you will end up with unnamed clips reading "Record 1 to Record 50" if it's recorded information.
  12. Yes! I create 100's of stems a day. Renaming Tracks and Clips are extremely important to me for visual purpose and copyright.
  13. I think I'm over worked. New update seems to restrict users from routing "Audio Track" inputs to an instrument output when playing the track. If it's stopped, routing is possible. Not sure if my memory is serving me correctly (Middle Age,) but i'm pretty sure this was possible while in playing mode up until 2020.11 I started noticing this since the release of the first 2021.01 test and hotfix releases. FL Studio does whats in discussion ×100 better! Really don't know why examples of other daws always have to be brought in. It does it either by Clip or Global setting.
  15. Same here. Can't update Cakewalk, nor sign in within the app. I can sign in through the BA, but too can't download or update. It downloaded something, but it's 1KB in size.
  16. More control! Because the demonstration doesn't stop there.
  17. What @murat k. said. Currently that's a fix curve. With a control point you will have more control and it'll be seamless. You can add a stutter effect on a note/entire clip, OR, create an Sidechain effect with it too. It's endless. Control Points.mp4
  18. "Hence:" to why I said it's a stretch! 5 years doing EDM in Cakewalk, well - you get to pick up a few extra skills drawing things in. FYI! I merely just stated, that it is achievable doing it "manually" until this gets implemented.
  19. Oh! in that case - this can already be achieved, by adding another node in between and choosing Fast or Slow curve for your desired curve. It's a stretch, but it works. A control point on the linear will be great too.
  20. How is it unrelated to creating a tremolo, when you can turn it into one?
  21. Requesting to add control points to Automation lanes. Control points allow users to create Gate/Step/Tremolo/Sine/Wave filters by Snap setting, ranging from a whole Step/Beat 1/1 to 128th OR to the smallest/shortest Tick settings. This allows you to create interesting sounds on a single note (between the nodes) or the entire clip. Thanks.
  22. Aware of that. Hence to why I said: Currently we have to "Draw" this in, but still far off from what "Automation Curve Points are." Top right: Control Point. Bottom Left and Right: Curve Points A curve point is created by the "Control Point."
  23. He is referring to a "control point" that typically defines a continuous automation lane. Creating a linear or discrete lane. It alters a Sine, gate, wave, pulse, step, stairs and step filters, all with snap notes using a control point within the automation lane that you either drag up/down, OR, left/right to create your Step/Snap Filter, OR, "Gate step." In EDM, it's also being used with Sidechaining for ducking the bassline/synth strings. Currently we have to manually draw this in. This is actually one thing cakewalk do not have. We can't create a tremolo effect with Automation.
