  1. The "Arranger View" are way more flexible than the Matrix view.
  2. Did you try to right-click the track or bus to display the pop-up menu, and check or uncheck the appropriate show meter options?
  3. Q: Do you have Asio4All installed perhaps? A: If so - Uninstall it from your system. (always the culprit.) 2: Make sure you have the latest Apollo twin drivers installed. 3: Check that the sample rate in windows are the same as that of the apollo and Cakewalk.
  4. ? Yes, I fully understand. I recall working on a class project in college helping with coding a game. No one will touch the signal flow on this. Just the visual on the Meter just those commands that Split the "visual side" of the Meter we see, when in Mono or Stereo.
  5. An option can always be added to switch between the standard view and the requested one. We cater for both Producers and Mixing engineers that prefer it either way.
  6. You didn't understandmy previous reply fully. I have a Mecer 43" 4K Monitor hanged against the wall. Things in cakewalk are really small. This is only with cakewalk. Scalling the Resolution down expands/Make things bigger/larger/Huge/it enlarges the strips, but I lose the real-estate coming with a 4K monitor. That's what I meant with that. Having a "classic" dedicated Mono SINGLE METER separate from a Stereo meter, will bring a sense of visual purpose without some sort of confusion now and then - as I have mentioned above.
  7. Tried it before, didn't like it. Having these separate, will make certain mixing decision easier in locating mono tracks. Things are extremely small on a 4K monitor from a far. Changing the resolution: What was the use investing in one just to lose all that real-estate again.
  8. Dude, I didn't mean anything bad by it. Just the truth. I apologize though, if you feel offended.
  9. True! Single meter for mono would still be proper for visual purpose though.
  10. No! You get both simultaneously. But - I still read it sometimes as stereo, even when I know I'm in Mono.
  11. Visual purpose on bigger screens.
  12. Read the Documentation. ? https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=SONAR X2&language=3&help=Mixing.16.html
  13. A lot of members have been requesting this before - including me. ?
  14. Still crossing my fingers for this.
  15. Just delete Asio4All and you should be fine. Uninstall it completely from your system.
  16. Try to resize your modules between small, medium and large see what happens.
  17. Got you! I've seen a lot of users complaining about both WASAPI Exclusive and Shared drivers having issues. Recalling back when I ran only ASIO4ALL and X1LE (way before I had my first Interface.) I also couldn't watch YouTube videos. Have you tried to download your motherboards manufacturer drivers from their website? This helps with drivers issue windows can't fix. Upgraded my studio machine 2 since then and I only use original from the manufacturers websites for everything.
  18. Take it everything works fine now? What you need to also do now is, set your Windows Sample Rate and Asio4All sample rate sync'd with your buffer size to 1024 in Asio4All panel. You should be set for heavy projects. Keep in mind! You will get the occasional dropout now and then, as you're using memory and cpu to drive your buffer refresh rate through digital format.

I'm doing this just to check where it was installed. ?

It's available for download too. I remember with X1LE and Patinium you could remove it, place it in a directory path to view it without leaving Cakewalk. I need to find those discs and go through it's installation folder to look for this.
  21. Wrong too. This is only America. The world over: It's Hip Hop, though that has change since last year. Today since 2020 Pop Music became the #1 as we're heading back towards the "Disco Era" with music, fusing it with Pop, Hip Hop, EDM, House, Rock and K-Pop.
  22. Why do you want to use WASAPI SHARED if it works fine on ASIO? Secondly: Something I'd discovered a while back, having the same issue with samples either clipping, or having that "static" information as you call it. As you've said, it also just happened on measure 1 my side. When dragged even by a "TICK Value" it would disappeared. This bothered me so much that I had to drag all my projects by a 128Step forward to prevent this from entering into the exporting stage. Here's the thing: Everytime you import a sample, it get's converted to the sample rate you're currently using in Cakewalk with the BPM it was rendered to. Most DAWs (good example would be FL STUDIO) allows you to stretch the BPM by a millisecond, where with cakewalk - it has a fix whole count. Can you zoom fully into the sample and check both the Beginning and End of the sample, to check if it doesn't overlap slightly over into the next measure - or not fully snapped to the start of the measure? This does not apply to all samples. So whenever you loop or the sample under this condition, it causes the clipping or a short burst of "Static" as it gets cut off suddenly during playback. Fix: A quick fix for me would be to "Drag the end that overlaps to be aligned with the measure OR stretch it by hitting ALT+A to open the snap panel. Hope this help.
