Clip gain adjustment problem in Sonar that was never a problem in CbB
Base 57 replied to T Boog's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Are you sure you are clicking the bottom half of the clip? It's working correctly here. Ahh nevermind. If you are getting the red line.... -
Well, it is an Exclusive Offer.

I'm not sure if this is new to the latest version, but every time I switch tabs in the Browser, it buries the synth rack. I remember reading that work had been done on the browser with this update, so I'm not sure if this is the intended behavior. I would really prefer that the browser tabs all stay the same size and not cover up the synth rack. Or maybe I'm missing something?

Advice needed for using a 4 port MIDI interface with CbB
Base 57 replied to Philip Jones's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
This is what I use. Any computer or tablet on the network can use it simultaneously. There is also a smaller, less expensive model. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/mioXL--iconnectivity-mioxl-usb-midi-interface?_queryID=62523c6bdb19211bc460eaa437e313e9&_index=production_products -

I've been using it for several hours now. Everything is working very well. My only problem is the secondary now time display is too small. I can't see it well without changing the scaling (which I'm not going to do). Other than that one thing, I'm happy with it. Thanks
-
"Secondary Now Time display moved to main toolbar Now Time display as second row" I don't like this. I don't remember anyone asking for it. The other way was better. I suppose I will get used to it. "Color theme improvements" Can someone elaborate on this please?

Well, Feature Requests belong in the Feedback Loop subforum. I'm sure that if you post this request there, the Bakers will get right on it for you.🙂

I got over 13 minutes of transcendence... Watched it twice. And I intend to watch it again soon. So, thank you for posting it.

Sending 32 channels of audio from Cakewalk to the A&H SQ6 mixer
Base 57 replied to Edward Allen's question in Q&A
OP asked about the Allen and Heath SQ6. The L20 is a Zoom product and really a different animal. I believe @David Baay correctly addressed the OP's issue. -
Well @T Boog your prayer has been answered. Now can you pray for it to stop? I can't leave my house. 🫥

I wish I could LIKE this a hundred times. You can completely screw up a project by forgetting to turn off Ripple Edit.
-
I'm pretty sure that was sarcasm. Of course I was wrong once. It could happen a second time.

Get an interface with XLR inputs and a couple RCA adapters.

Since she's going anyway, can you ask her to please pick up two cans of finger sleaze and one of those clip on guitar tuners?

Is there a way to recover a project file?
Base 57 replied to mgustavo's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
If you have File Versioning enabled (on by default), you can click on File-Revert and see if there is a version that pre-dates the mistake. -
The inexplicable wretchedness of trying to use the drum pane
Base 57 replied to Starship Krupa's topic in Feedback Loop
This is a valid point. However, you can use the scroll wheel to select a preset in the Map Manager. You have to click on the down arrow to roll down the preset list from the New Map dropdown. And that list is Looooooong.
