  1. But it's only 2 players. More like a trial without a time-limit.
  2. I always believed it's the other way around. With lower prices he could get more money from bigger sales number.
  3. Mac only. Also requires ilok dongle. Did I mention mac only?
  4. Interesting. I just bought MWobbler and am wondering if this one has anything MWobbler hasn't...? (not counting brilliant selfexplanatory one-page GUI vs crypto menu-diving on melda...)
  5. Free stuff I use regularly: Cakewalk by Bandlab Dexed PG8x VOS Arturia freebies Overloud freebies a lot of free samples/loops ...and a few more I don't list here to save some paper (and the forest) Oh yeah Waves RBass where applicable
  6. Yes, this driver is written by a rather well regarded brand (as opposite to Behringer) called Ploytec that stands behind the drivers for many other USB audio/midi interface producers. It's a proper ASIO driver not a wrapper, I'm using it with ART USB preamp/interface and it's easily on par with the most other popular choices out there.
  7. acha, the code is for registering software at softube account when purchased from a dealer, then they will deposit the license in my ilok account = need to link the accounts either way thanks, looks like that's the only way they do it
  8. I have long time iLok installed, I use machine registration. Central is no no, I hate managers. I also don't like linking accounts but I will link if it's the only way. Thanks
  9. They want me to link their account with ilok whatever that means. That's new to me as I've been always given a redeem code and manually registering in my ilok account. No code with Softube? Or is it again something they push but I can't find a workaround.
  10. Shiny! Could fit me well
  11. I think now it's all about porting everything from 3rd party to his own engine.
  12. I have the old kontakt version and the sound is remarkable, very fat as you'd wish it to be! But the price to upgrade is still too steep.
  13. Thanks scook. In the Support section I also have read about direct installers.
  14. That's a bummer/one more factor to take into consideration.
  15. I must have missed it. Would definitely snag it at that price.
  16. I prefer manually install each software and keep out of any managers unless I'm forced to use (XLN, NI, Waves...)
  17. When exactly did it start? Nothing on their website. Hopefully tomorrow will be still going on. I don't have anything Softube yet. Is there anything I should be aware of before entering their ecosystem? Or it's just drop the license, install and enjoy?
  18. I wasn't interested in buying Quadra until they've hit me with this price! What worse can happen than it just taking some of my virtual space, right?
  19. Thought MODO Strings are coming...
  20. they've recently moved to fastspring, that's a bummer for me too I already passed on too many otherwise good deals
  21. Hi Mike, try with unplugging the charger from laptop for a moment and check if the noise is gone. If it's gone then it's ground loop, if not, then something else like the Uphoria is having issue or something else in the chain.
  22. Is this a good deal? I mean, fastspring will add another like $10 or so to the price for me, making it gravitate towards $50. If there are chances for a sale like this (or better) then I'm in no hurry if only I can buy it from a different place.
  23. at this point I'm being sold! 😂
