At the same time, we have this massive library that's been in development over the last eight years, so that's admittedly been taking up a lot of our bandwidth...

    Wondering whats that?? 😃

Hope you can help convince the powers that be to offer a really good upgrade offer to loyal IK Customers.

That's not how IKM works. Their business model consists of luring new customers in with better deals, then nick and dime them out of all their money once they're already into the scheme. And that doesn't seem like it will change any time soon, especially considering their profits.

Actually I just visited the Upgrades page in my IKM account and there's a complete change! Didn't figure out if more for good or for bad, yet...:D

Hammond B-3X should work without issue in Cakewalk.  Have you reported this to the team?  If so let me know your ticket number and I'll see what is going on.

It was already few years ago, I thought the case would be long closed...? I told them guys simple steps to reproduce the issue: draw a long note, like a few bars long. Then draw a smooth crescendo of any control change over it, best would be one that is easily heard back like volume cc#7 or any drawbars. On playback it's smooth but when rendering audio or freezing track, controllers will change only once a few seconds, it's broken (and you can see it on the waveform).

Think they've asked me to make a video but for me it was too sketchy at that time, also I had a home move on my head (had actually too much home moving over last couple years!). Also I know of other users with same issue providing a video so they should have everything.

Let me know if it still makes sense to get back on it and I'll search my emails for the ticket number. Thanks

After all those years have you not reached to the conclusion that SPL De-Verb is a COMPRESSOR?

It is just the decay part of a transient designer processor, so yes in a way it works similar to a compressor's release. Where it differs is that it's not threshold dependent.

While it was a well sampled instrument,  it was a ton of articulations without scripting to make it possible to achieve a realistic performance in real  time; you had to go into midi by hand to create authentic sounding performances. So I gave up on it and never bothered with the library even a month after I bought it.

In their SC videos I saw there are some scripted patches that should allow for a realtime playing, well maybe not as full-featured like most instruments nowadays. But man, does it sound righteous!

We should have something for you too, in due time.

I sure would be happy with Di... Dyno My Piano (aka. Tri Stereo Chorus) as a standalone plugin, so that I could use more than just two or three plugins in my projects in future, before things go sideways.

Oh and as you'd be on non guitar stuff, maybe make the Hammond plugin work in Cakewalk. For now I just use other organs.

All I can say is not soon.  It isn't on the calendar in the very near future for sure, from what I am seeing.

Good. You're giving us enough time to update all of our computers to the latest before trying out TR6 :D

  8. It's like comparing Ferrari and Lamborghini! Both are supercars, it's just a matter of taste and the spec. Eventually one of them we'll get for a price of a regular car (which wouldn't happen with them cars anyway) so I'm getting it that way. I unsub'd from forever29 so I'll probably have to buy this or the $75 voucher on the aftermarket and be done with it.

Point is...for some reason they play way nicer (and as VST3) with Reaper.  I didn't test to see if that was because of Reaper's Anticipative FX Processing or not.

They are late to the VST3 party and unfortunately we can't do much, just wait until they polish them more. That Cakewalk isn't among officially supported DAWs doesn't help either. If they say they didn't check too much with Cakewalk, maybe they did just what I did after updating - plugin opens fine, no crash - all good! :D

Two-three plugins in a project is a no-no, it's not like there are the only plugins in a project. Please post us with another version if you find out it's behaving considerably better than 5.4.1. For me it's still VST2 for a while.

What I do is I don't install the standalone version and I move all T-Racks plugins I don't have licenses for (including T-Racks Suite, as it will show all the models even if you delete them as well) to a folder which is not scanned by any tools which use VST3 plugins. It's not ideal but what can you do.

What I did was to complete the bundle on the other group buy (then they released new stuff obviously) 😂

Where do their products stand between Fabfilter, iZotope, Waves Audio, HorNet, Acon Digital, Melda Production, Sonible, and Native Instruments...

between Hotone Audio and JST, based on the first letters 🤪

  11. I had to test it myself remembering that I just recently updated to the latest 5.4.1 as well and sure enough I can only put max 2-3 Soundtoys VST3 plugins in a track before I get regular glitches while I can put 10 or more VST2 plugins instead and playback keeps smooth, just a short buzz on stop (or when clicking on TWEAK button to extend the GUI).

Glad to hear! Was that for the big version, or Lites/Gig? I'll check out for updates

I have Lites and Gig, both at v2.0.24. Don't know exactly when has the update to v2 happened but IIRC, I was confused with two ways of installation after the purchase, sent them an email and got a quick and helpful reply so my experience is very positive.

It seems Audiomodern have now completely abandoned their instrument range and are focussing on plugins.

    Oh yeah that's a shame.

Plain and simple, it's bad ethics and deceptive practice -- just done to deceive customers that they're getting a much better deal than they're actually getting.

It's a bit of an irony that this voice is coming from a country known from having one of the most liberal market (I'm playing a little game with you on this, please don't take it seriously at all, LOL).

I think nobody is going to do anything about it as this will be easily qualified as low social harm ;). Besides I've bought a few libraries for very low price so I have no right to complain!

And the Broadway stuff was recorded and coded over a decade ago, by a company that may not even exist anymore.

I bought Broadway like a year or two ago, had a nice quick email exchange with support, saw there was an update so it looks like and gives impression as being kept well maintained.
