  1. With deals like this, it makes me wonder if anyone ever pays MSRP...... (unless they want it 90 seconds ago)
  2. Just install Syntronik 2 CS and then the content. That's what I did and the Syntronik 2 synths are editable with the new editing paradigm. I activated the content in IK Product manager first. However, I download the sound content manually from my IKM product page.. I just don't trust the IK Product manager quite enough yet do use it to download the actual sound content - based on my recollection of some forum posts. Also, don't forget to backup the installer zip files (180 day limit and all that).
  3. I would have thought Synthmaster 3 might have been completed and available by now.....
  4. This library requires the full version of KONTAKT 6.7 or higher
  5. From what I have gathered in other forum posts, when a MIDI controller is configured as a Control Surface, it takes over your MIDI controller entirely. Does your MIDI controller provide two MIDI ports to the PC? I know the PCR-800 does. The PCR-800 shows up in Preferences | MIDI | Devices as two ports: PCR 1 and PCR 2 So I believe that if I wanted to configure my PCR-800 as a Control Surface, I would need to do the following: Configure the PCR-800 to send keyboard note events to both ports (I just checked my manual and this is possible). Then in Preferences | MIDI | Devices, I would simply enable PCR 2 - then select that as the input of any MIDI track or Simple Instrument Track. As I do not use my PCR-800 as a Control Surface, but as a simpe MIDI contrler, I just enable, and use, PCR 1 as my MIDI input(s) in CbB. To know how you do this with your MIDI Controller (or if it’s eve possible), you would have delve in your MIDI Controller's user guide.
  6. Is your MIDI controller configured as a Control Surface by any chance?
  7. When was this stated? If you say around 2017 to 2018, then I would have thought “in the near future” would now mean “by now”....
  8. Can you give a bit of info about your system? Version and build number. CPU, Ram, audio interface. Driver mode (ASIO or WASAPI)? Are sample rates consistent between all audio programs and windows. Has Windows updates borked your hardware drivers (I have told my Windows never to do this for quality updates) https://www.windowscentral.com/how-disable-automatic-driver-updates-windows-10 Maybe reinstall your hardware drivers (other hardware as well as audio interface). Do this by actually going to the respective manufacturer's websites rather than relying on Windows updates. Note: I have never has this particular issue.
  9. Maybe when I upgrade my non "OS" drive, I might think about it..... but with my old ears, I probably would not be able to tell the difference between a 4 gig Steinway library and Meldway Grand.
  10. No, and I don’t intend to - not at 40gig
  11. hmm, that has not been my experience loading projects containing multiple instances of Msoundfactory with this beta.. Are you using CbB 2022.02 Build 39?

  13. MeldaProduction have made available the BETA release of version 16.00 of all of their plugins. https://www.meldaproduction.com/downloads Changes: Of particular note is MeldaProduction's decision to drop support for 32bit plugins from 16 onwards. Also noted on the changes page: “Backwards compatibility is intact, however note that there is a new optimised storage system using a new format. If you save projects with the new version, old versions won't be able to read the settings. If you'd need to downgrade for any reason, first go to "Settings / Compatibility settings" and enable "Storage compatibility mode for V15", then save the settings” See: https://www.meldaproduction.com/changes/#changes-16.00c for more changes.
  14. I also do not use default locations for any IK stuff. I just make sure, with any installation of new items, that they are going to the locations that I have specified. Any products usable in more that one IK program, I make sure that the content location definitions match in all programs (In my case Miroslav Philharmonic 2, SYN, SYN2 and ST4 Max). As you know, some IKM products can specify multiple locations. I believe st3i files are for ST3 individual instruments and st4i files are for ST4 individual instruments. There are also st3m and st4m files. There are for ST3 and ST4 multis respectively. I believe PAK files are the proprietary format where IKM can store actual sample data for their instruments.
  15. I installed Syntronik 2 Syner-V and I was able to audition all of the sounds using the Syntronik 2 and the Sampletank 4 GUI. I never received a “sounds can't be found” error on any of the sounds in either SYN2 or ST4 I actually downloaded the sounds manually (There are 6 files) from my IK products page https://www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea/my-products/ I used a bulk decompression process to the contents of these 6 zip files to another folder (keeping the folder structure) and ran the installation from there. If course, I chose the same location that SYN1 uses. I used the IK product manager to make sure they were activated You should be able to install and activate using IK Product Manager (I could have installed using the IKPM, I simply chose to do it manually) The ....\Samples\Syntronik Syner-V folder contains 17.4 GB (18,743,177,691 bytes) of data (*.pak files)

    Midi Clip PRV

No. Showing Clip Outlines is the closest thing we have.
  17. One thing I should let you folks know, just in case you come across this with Syntronik 2 or Sampletank 4. There is an issue with the latest Sampletank4 and Syntronik 2 and pitch bend ranges. With version 4.17 of Sampletank4 and version 2.02 of Syntronik 2, the pitch bend range results in double what you have actually dialled in. For instance, dial in a pitch bend range of 1 semitone on the GUI, and the range it actually gives you is 2 semitones. This also has the net effect of not being able to get an odd number of semi tones for the pitch bend range. This appears to only manifest on patches that use the Syntronik 2 or Sampletank4 engine. I have lodged a ticket with IK Multimedia support (lodged 12 March with a couple of requests, by me, for follow up). I have reverted to 4.16 of Sampletank4 and version 2.01 of Syntronik 2 until IK Multimedia resolve this issue.
  18. The MIDI track would not be a step edited track by any chance, would it? Right click on the clip. If the View > Step edit is NOT greyed out, then it's a step edited clip. Check the clip corners. Are they slightly rounded? If you bounce the clip, does it then become edible?

    No sound

This is a fairly old thread. You might want to start a new one so more people will see it. When you do, you might want to explain how you load your MIDI into Cakewalk. Note : “Uploading” means you are sending new midi files to some server on a remote location - unless that’s what you’re actually doing....
  20. Can't be done. Feature request it here: https://discuss.cakewalk.com/index.php?/forum/8-feedback-loop/
  21. Only Bandlab know the answer to that question......

    I can't install Cakewalk

Can you give us more information about your system and what you have tried so far? Are you using Bandlab Assistant or the Cakewalk web Installer? I have always used the Cakewalk web Installer and have never has any issues. Is your Windows a 64 bit version of Windows 7 or above (Windows 10 is preferred) IS error 12002 while downloading or during the actual install. We really some something to go on.
  23. Are you using Cakewalk by Bandlab 2022.02 Build 39 Can you give more information regarding your workflow here? - maybe even a screenshot. I have never had this happen when editing MIDI events using the Event List View.
  24. Some plugins themselves have a specific setting to use the GPU for graphics rendering. For example, Meldaproduction has such a switch in its settings.
  25. What is your default web browser set to? Go Windows settings (Winkey + i) > Apps > default Apps > Web browser. Mine is set to Firefox and I can log on to Cakewalk via the Bandlab website.
