  1. Ah... I didn't think those would count. As far as I know, those files that begin ._ are Mac metadata files. Not being a Mac user, I usually do a find for them and delete them all. Off the top of my head, I think the other common Mac files are .ds_store.
  2. @Fwrend Did you rename the library folder by any chance? I'm still using Native Access 1, but adding libraries can fail if the folder name isn't as it expects it to be. Typically the folder name is the same as the product name (which seems to be the case from your screenshots), but it can sometimes be different, e.g. using underscores instead of spaces; or having the developer's name in the folder.
  3. My guess is that this means we no longer create Kontakt Player libraries that need authorisation via Native Access.
  4. I know it isn't, but it looks remarkably like the Spitfire Audio player interface
  5. What type of music do you make, or what type of instruments do you like?
  6. It sounds great - I may have to play around with Sandman Pro a bit more!
  7. Very nice tune, @Steve K. What's that instrument that sounds a bit like a waterphone? It's goes really well with the overall vibe.
  8. If you do, don't forget to download all of the sounds within the download-window.
  9. Maybe that's the total price of all the individual titles at list price?
  10. I think the value of your voucher is based on how much you have spent at their store within a certain timeframe (e.g. last x months); not how many plugins in total you have licences for.
  11. I don't have experience with Synthogy, but many developers have been happy to add my purchases from T+S to their accounts when I provided proof of purchase. That said, my purchases haven't involved iLoks. It's worth a try though.
  12. Open the PA Installation Manger and click on My Trials. It's not perfect (not all PA software installs from there), but it certainly helps to narrow down what you don't have.
  13. Unfortunately, I'd need to get a loan from someone else before I could loan to you.
  14. My bad - I only saw that it was a large drive; I didn't look at the price. I was just thinking of safe backup strategies.
  15. Buy two and mirror them. Quite unlikely both would fail at the same time.
  16. Hmm... I wonder if something is happening at PA. ADPTR, Shadow hills, Black Box Analog Design all now available at PB. Or maybe it's just PA expanding where they're selling to drive overall sales?
  17. The problem with tambourines (and shakers) is that they're quite hard to do with samples and MIDI, just because of the way that all of the elements that make sound interact with each other. Maybe have you considered something like: https://klevgrand.com/products/skaka or (though more expensive) https://insessionaudio.com/products/shimmer-shake-strike-2/
  18. If you're looking for new fans, it's worth giving Noctua a look. The colours might not appeal to some, but I don't see that as a problem as they go inside the case.
  19. Don't know if the situation is still the same, but I seem to remember @Jim Roseberry saying that AMDs can be faster, but only for parallel processing, e.g. rendering video. Intel still rules for more single threaded uses like pushing audio through with low latencies. I also seem to remember Jim saying that Intel chips were easier to keep cool, compared to a similar model from AMD.
  20. It says there are three tiers, but then goes on to list only two - have I missed something?
  21. The demo on the product page generally sounds pretty good. Don't know if it's just the processing, but he sounds like he suffers from a bit of sibilance.
  22. Very true. The advantage of Larry posting it rather than the developer though is that the thread gets to stay open because of the advertising rules.

    PA Amp Alarm

The question is: would you rather pay $29 for a plugin with inaudible aliasing, or $199 for pretty much the same plugin that doesn't have aliasing (but for all intents and purposes acts and sounds the same)? Of course there's always the option of using stock plugins, which are pretty good these days. Pretty sure that's not exclusive to plugins. I once heard about a pair of trainers/sneakers that cost 2 figures to manufacture, but sold for 3-to-4 figures because it had a commemorative logo on it. Fashion shoes and sports merchandise also probably fall into this category too. Monster cables? How about an Apple Mac Pro Stand for £949.00? Back!

Looks amazing, Larry - hope it was as fun as it looks!
  25. Ahh... Maybe I misunderstood. I thought Sander meant one button to install all Toontrack products (like the Melda/Kilohearts installers), e.g. for setting up a new DAW - it'd download all of SD3, all of Legacy of Rock, etc.
