  1. Yeah love them! Sometimes you come up with more unusual stuff and it teaches you a fair bit about synths and makes it easier to understand creating presets in non modular synths.
  2. That would buy some top tier synths that would be much higher quality (quantity this might win) Mine is even worse at 399... Easy pass for me. It would be very close to, if not the bottom of my list now. Even at 149 I might need to be bored, or talk myself into it 🤣
  3. Yeah I think I'll unsubscribe from these guys. I've learnt my time and effort is worth more than having to make sure I'm available right within that 16 minute window and deal with server errors at an unfriendly time.
  4. Cloud could be dramatically improved if they simply added some caching with it for a few days, so if it can't check in during an internet outage, then as long as its not more than a day, or two, it's fine. Maybe we should all contact them and ask 😉
  5. I was thinking the same, but I think he will in the next version of Total EQ.
  6. Maybe it's that for me too 🤣 I have heard some praise for a few of their plugins, but not many people rave about them. I don't feel like I'm missing anything by not having them.
  7. I never liked them because they only allowed one activation/machine, so I would never buy anything from them. Seems they recently changed that when I checked. As of v7, our licensing policy is two iLok authorizations per product purchased. This lets you use a single v7 license to authorize each of your two systems I still think I don't like them anyway now 🤣
  8. You won the internet for the day.. I was buying these before I even knew exactly what it was I was buying 🤣 They're not something I would normally buy (now that I know what they are!), but they are quite interesting and I'm sure will be useful and fun at times. Nice find 🙂
  9. That's a pretty great price for that (albeit when compared to the bundles we've recently seen from UA its hard for a single type of plugin to compete with them). Easily replaced my CLA76 from Waves.
  10. Glad to hear you're feeling a little better Mira and I hope you're back to 100% in no time, especially so you can enjoy making music again 🙂
  11. 12. Agreed Kirean, I always try and approach companies nicely even when their product is the problem and causing issues. Most companies don't intentionally create bugs or want to introduce them and it sucks for them too. A lot of the time the person you're speaking with can't even help, they're just handling the ticket. I felt a bit sorry for him reading that section too (and the health side). Part of says don't buy their products as the writing is on the wall, but the other side thinks he probably deserves the sales.
  13. Just something to keep in mind for anyone considering upgrades this one might be the end of the road or close to... It's a bit of a shame really as they make some quite decent synths and effects. Summary: - I will not longer develop new products. Instead I will focus on updates and enhancements for the existing ones - All licenses will stay valid. We do not use a subscription system. Our licenses are not time-limited - We can guarantee that all products will continue to work also in the future - There will be no no risk of data loss. If you should loose your backups or loose your links we will take care of you and redeliver the products for free - The website will stay online - Support will continue - There will still be new soundsets - Most likely there still will be a major update for RayBlaster and maybe there might be Icarus3.x - There will be no further major updates for our products. Gladiator4.x, Electra3.x, Saurus4.x, Nemesis 3.x will be the final versions. Some private words: Sadly I must say that I do not longer enjoy doing my work and developing synthesizers. It's a sum of many diffuse negative reasons over a very long period of time that finally made decide to quit today. During the last two decades I had to deal with an extreme amount of stress, many very over-emotional/nasty/drunken/high customers, bullshit in forums, harassment, piracy, defamation and trolling. The stress level was so dramatic that I did not only get divorced, but now also have to deal with serious health problems. That's why I will move on and will not longer develop new products. I simply must focus on more on my health and have more time for my kids. I must say a big THANK YOU to all those who supported the work of our small company. There will also not be not longer be support for Tone2 products on kvr. In the future you will have to use our official support channels if you need something. 14. Now you're talking.. Sign me up for one of those too!
  15. I think that's the only reason I'd consider buying it too. The free version is really decent and very generous, so it would be good to support his development of it. Apart from that, I already have a bunch of metering options as it is. His price is reasonable as well. Love developers like that. That seems like a crazy about of updates coming also!
  16. Didn't you already post this one the other day Lars? Don't know much about this limiter at all..
  17. I did the same and grabbed and grabbed MSoundFactoryLE as it also seems to include ALL of the instruments of the full version, including I believe being able to use the sounds from the drum machines as well from what I gather. Somebody else might be able to confirm that, but either way it's great value. Not being able to edit those deeply doesn't both me, as I'd normally be applying my own effects etc to drum samples anyway and some sounds like pianos you don't always need to go deep with the virtual instrument itself, as I'll also apply my own effects. Plus it already includes a crazy amount of instruments with more being added and I'll get them too. New customers can also use MELDA57625915 for an additional 20% off. Also for anyone that purchased this, is it possible to install the sound libraries to an external drive?
  18. That's my understanding too. You would only get it if you had the hardware to use them now, or to wait and get each plugin as they convert it to native. But there are a truckload of plugins that most of us already have the PA versions too, or Sonnox, etc. There are still some good looking plugins in Complete that I wouldn't mind. Personally I don't think I'd want to spend any more money with them for a bit. Who knows where their prices and treatment of customers is going at the moment! New customers will probably get complete for $150 in the not so distant future 🤣
  19. Overall I'd say it was definitely worth the $150 upgrade to Signature to get the good ones I wanted, but the whole bundle definitely isn't full of standouts and many are somewhat filler and I have better too. But there are some great ones in there that will get a lot of use.
  20. I'm seeing a lot of lowest prices ever this Black November so far. Maybe some of them are getting less sales and starting to feel the pinch.
  21. I didn't plan on buying that yet just in case I want to buy all the expansions, it's better to get them all at once. I'm not planning on that, but there could be a really tempting offer at some stage. These are what the other freebies on top of the 3+GB of Factory sounds ChamberTron Extras 89MB Compute-a-Tune 53MB Piano Bass 2 48MB Isolation Choir 2020 552MB
  22. Thanks Carl, that's REALLY helpful! I do have Komplete 14 Ultimate (thanks to their temporary price glitch) so it includes the Factory Library, but also includes the Pro versions of Session Strings and Session Horns along with a bunch of Symphony Essentials libraries. From what I gather, none of them are top notch, but should be fine for a lot of my stuff, which is why I hadn't jumped at the 8DIO stuff already. Like you said it's probably a case of digging through them and finding the gems in there, as I have stumbled across parts of them that I like. I'm also somewhat considering Musio1 so that's a consideration too. I really haven't checked out Audio Imperia, so I'll definitely check them out and the Youtube you shared as well.
  23. That's a REALLY good upgrade price from them for one of the their newer VST3 plugins.. while I was waiting on the larger factory library to download I installed some of the smaller free expansion packs and the first preset I listened to alone made it worth £29.99 🙂
  24. I haven't tried the other two, but I do really quite like the IK. I didn't mind some of the sounds in the basic version, so Pro for this price seems like a no brainer.
