@Annabelle if you look closely you will see it is within Preferences it says Preferences at the top of the window
P to open Preferences, > File > VST Settings.
There is another way but lets not complicate it.

@Annabelle did you reset and rescan as suggested by @msmcleod?

Sounding good here Barry, your mixing has come on well.
Not sure about the drums either, but perhaps a ride would have been better and not quite so busy.
Still good stuff and if you like it that is all that really matters. -
Always something interesting to hear from you Makke, as said elsewhere a touch of Hank.

Thanks for the feedback and the listen! When you say warm, do you mean the top end is excessively suppressed? Second mix is up so I'm looking forward to your critique on it.
No top end is present just the whole mix felt, ready for this, kind of cuddly. Will listen later, Missi needs a walk and I need to visit someone special.

Well that was very interesting --- in a very positive way. I did shut my eyes and let the music flow. The introductory droning was almost like a meditation mantra and for me was very relaxing. I appreciate that there was a slow build up toward the "Berlin school"ending. The build up allowed me to comfortably come back to reality.
You did indeed use some "real cool tones.
Well done and excellent job!
Thank you Freddy I appreciate your kind words, it could have gone on & on & on that drone was quite seductive.

Nice production as ever Steve and yet another story song. Nice

Warm sounding mix for me, as noted the kit needs a little work and the vox needs to come up in places, no final judgment (ha ha ha) till the remix.
But so far it is nice no problems with the length either, I like long songs -
Nice pop song, well sung mix sounds like an Ed job, is it just me being picky, probably snare seems a little forward.

As ever great production, nicely balanced mix, voxcal sitting in the mix. A song with a story for sure.

Mix sounds balanced here, not my thing but it does sound well done, good vocal balance, sits in the mix.

I wonder if .cwp and .cwb files can be saved with Cakewalk By Bandlab.
They are Cakewalk format files .CWP and .CWB, have been for years since Cakewalk SONAR was introduce. It will also open .WRK projects created in the Pro Audio software.
You appear to not understand it is fundamentally the same program as Cakewalk SONAR by Gibson, and Cakewalk by Bandlab. It is built on the same code base.

it was a minor diminished chord.
I like diminished chords, minor ones are even more fun. My shine reference was to one of your old Moonshine tunes

Will it cost me anything? If so, how much?
Currently CbB is still free to access all the products Cakewalk Sonar, Cakewalk Next and the extended version of Bandlab check this page for details. But I don't think Cakewalk Sonar or Next will install on Win 7.

Just heard this while listening to your Sound Cloud Channel. My kind of music! Well done!!
I like the others, too, but for me this is very personally relatable.
Happy Music!!!!!!
Glad you enjoyed it, it was fun to create. The arp patterns weaving around each other.
Thanks for your kind words, I like ARP's, just downloaded the latest version of Blue ARP, which I haven't used in ages.

Sonar 8.5 Producer: Display plugins by File Name?

I was thinking of the alternate way to do a reset and rescan, not the fun method of manually renaming them. As you expertly describe above 😉
Cakewalk Plugin Manager, which I use all time to manage/create custom plugin lists.
