  4. I had EZKeys 1 but never really used it as the GUI was to small on my 4K screens, I have 2 now but not really played with it. Listening to the one in the first post sounds OK here.
  5. ^^ This ^^ especially as the band came from just down the road to me. Mix works, don't crit your own vocal, sounds fine here, interesting take with the piano intro. Good Job
  6. Don't know the song so I slipped away to have a little listen to the original. I think you have done a very sympathetic cover. Mix sound OK here. Shame you didn't get a little more traction here.

    Rootsman Hustle

The remix, would appear to have worked, not that I heard the original
  8. Not a Judas Priest follower so I know not this song. Mix works fine here.
  9. Nice song from you Rex, fake instruments or otherwise it worked for me, who only uses fake (Synthesizers) to make music.
  10. You could try IK Multimedia ARC Studio, I was sceptical but am quite impressed with the subtle but useful change, probably cheaper than doing room treatment properly. My room treatment cost much more than the 299.99 Euro price of ARC studio.

Shame I was looking forward to a listen

    Alive

NIce enough easy listing laid back track. There is something hanging in the bass, some modulation of some kind, in the first 25 seconds which is a little irritating. Other than that nice clean airy mix good vocal sitting in the mix. Good job.
  15. I liked it the first time, not changed my mind for the addition of visuals.

WIth some of your stuff Jesse I get a Captain Beefheart vibe in your lyric. Mix works I can hear all the musical and nonmusical FX.
  17. Historically I played drums in several bands, they sound reasonably authentic, you appear to have used some velocity variations. I find the vary velocity CAL a useful tool for that. WOuld I be right in thinking you have tweaked the hits to create some push and pull in the timing? The mix gets a little chaotic towards the end making it hard to really tell. Good try though most would probably not notice.
  18. All the frequencies are present and balanced I am listening on my Adam's A7x's, in a semi treated room through IK Multimedia ARC studio room correction software and hardware box.

    Southern rain

Interesting lyrics which I can relate to. Mix needs a few tweaks but you said it was a warts and all presentation. Left a comment and a like on Bandalb.
  20. You don't have to use them you could use Soundcloud, Reverbnation, Bandlab or any of the other free streaming services. and anything being sold on these forums for personal gain is somewhat of a no no.
  21. I can hear this being used by DJ's in a set, seems the sort of thing they like. Mix sounds reasonably well balanced.
  22. Powerful lyrics good tune, nice mix This; we gotta educate to eradicate Unfortunately is the opposite of what is happening in many cases, more, keep them uneducated, easier to control if they don't know.
  23. Nice stuff, clean well spaced mix, not hearing the kick but definitely feeling it in a pleasant way.
