As of today, I'm pretty happy with transition from fxpansion to BFD Drums. Yeah there was some trivial pain but as most of you know this is my home studio so delays in installs are not lost revenue or customers for me.3 points

Impact Soundworks is thrilled to officially announce our first flagship orchestral string library: Tokyo Scoring Strings. Check out full information and updates on VI Control: https://vi-control.net/community/threads/tokyo-scoring-strings-coming-2021-by-impact-soundworks.108670/2 points

This is one of those projects that one hopes will turn out superb and different, but all the time I keep thinking: can the sound that makes the Japanese orchestra be transferred into samples... I hope so.2 points

InMusic is missing the boat here...they have a prime opportunity to sell expansions by putting them on sale right now...as people will be excited about the new update to BFD, and the move to InMusic, and would probably buy expansions due to that excitement, if the price were right... Just MO....YMMV2 points

I didn’t get the envelope icon either. I posted on the BFD Forum thread dealing with the issue, stating that I couldn’t PM. Drew then sent me an email, which I was able to respond to and get my new serial.2 points

https://www.pluginguru.com/products/unify-standard/ Ilio update link: https://www.ilio.com/unify-updates This is a FREE UPDATE to all existing customers! Version 1.5 adds the following new abilities to Unify: Auto-Save up to the last 10 patches you edited (click Revert button to see the recall list of patches) Easily get back a patch you lost by clicking a button and changing patches by accident. “Are You Sure?” question when changing patches – only happens if the patch has been edited but some plugins “dirty” the patch when loaded so this question could pop up often – which is why it is OFF by default. Turn it on via the Settings page. Browser Always Open – On by default – open settings, back to main page, the Browser now is still open! Softube software compatibility with VST2 and AU plug-ins (not VST3) Also includes optimizations and fixes reported by our customers!2 points

Generally, as a rule, but obviously not now, I don't bump me own self, but, InstrEd has never chimed in, that I can remember, and I don't remember EDDie, sometimes I deliver the jelly, and sometimes I deliver the jam, but no matter what, the package is always chunky, fruity, sweet, and wholesome. (what the hell are you doing in the song forum?) especially on fresh crepes, it is Grandmas cook book. Yes, I will try that, thanks for the second set of ears. Bjorn suggested the same thing, but with a little less sugar and a bit more chunks. see above good jam has a lot of funk, good jelly has a lot of jazz but you knew that2 points

If you set the following within Preferences->File->Initialization File: TempoImportErrorThreshold=0 ... the tempo will be imported exactly as it was in the old project and won't try to fit an envelope shape to the map.2 points

Reaper's ReaStream plugin will stream over the network (although it's meant for a LAN rather than a WAN)... but it might work. It's just a standard VST2, so it should work in Cakewalk: https://www.reaper.fm/reaplugs/ If it doesn't support WAN streaming directly, you'll definitely be able to use Reastream to stream to OBS, then get OBS to do the streaming over the internet.2 points

Credit where it is due. @Craig Anderton wrote that article. In it he correctly points out that if you want to use automation on grouped tracks it must be enabled on all of the tracks. If you write automation on only one grouped track, the rest of the grouped tracks will not follow it. I believe it was also Craig that suggested using a midi fader through LoopBe if one wanted to only write a single automation envelope for all of the grouped faders to follow. I don't remember if he suggested it in the old forum thread I wrote of earlier or if it was a Tip of the Week.2 points

Got my Z Pack replacement serial from Drew. Its currently downloading now. When upgrading to InMusic BFD I did not have to reinstall/download the core BFD set, only the update; it linked to the previous BFD 3 installation.1 point

@Terry Kelley That would be a job for OBS, except that it isn't a plug in and runs simultaneously with your DAW. It has all of the optimization settings required to stream HQ stereo to a person on the other end of a stream. Open Broadcaster Software | OBS (obsproject.com)1 point

Good luck at the hospital. Im not sure where your at but I highly recommend spending some time watching the tutorials Example there should be no issues with having any VST GUI open while playing a song and making adjustments. Go to the tutorials sub forum. I have made a bunch too that you’ll find in my signature Hope everything is well.1 point

April 26, 2021 Improved option `Go to 'Neutral' if no pair within 30 seconds`: now works also for 'Before' instances that don't have an 'After' pair Improved: When inserting 'After' it now outputs the difference value only after collecting enough audio (RMS time, 3 seconds by default) Improved: the difference value is now grayed out when it cannot be properly calculated (no signal, etc) Fixed "Listen before"/"Delta" crossfades issues when using large buffer size (4096) Fixed "Before" could be stuck in delay detection mode (and output silence) when duplicating the track Updated the manual (Also the sale is still going on) https://letimix.com/products/gainmatch/update/history1 point

FREE WIZARD Stereo widener mono-compatible. TOTALLY FREE. Wizard is a plug-in that expands the stereo image of any mono or stereo signal, in general this is a mono-compatible plug-in, so we avoid some phase problems when adding a mono signal. https://audiofb.com/produto/wizard/1 point

Yeah, there is 50MB quota. I don't use any forum option to insert images into posts. imgur.com provides a copy button for the BBCode to past directly info the post. Once I upload a png or animated gif (the two formats I currently use) clicking on the image provides a list of copy options like this Click the BBCode copy button and right-click & paste in the forum post. ScreenToGif and LICEcap are both decent capture tools for animated gifs. I mostly use LICEcap because I started with it and it is simplier. But ScreenToGif can edit and add text to gifs so I grabbed its portable installer. It depends on how the link is added to the post. Using the method described above, images appear directly in post. They also appear as created. The forum does not mess with linked imaged. I have seen some post the url to the imgur page that hosts the image or the direct link to the image. As mentioned above, I use the BBCode copy option and paste it into posts to embed images.1 point
