Not to refute your basic point, which is that contrast between clips and background in the Track View is clearly a pain point and could be improved, but I would encourage more honey, less vinegar.

Point taken. The vinegar is there because I do care, been a Cakewalk user since 90s. It's just painful to see where it's going _compared_ to the free Cakewalk we've already have. The Cakewalk is the honey, but they want now money for vinegar.

"Secondary Now Time display moved to main toolbar Now Time display as second row"

I don't like this. I don't remember anyone asking for it. The other way was better.

There's actually room in the existing space to improve readability all around:

I doubt the "small" module includes this??

Returning to the theme editor function will easily solve these problems, why not do it this way?

Out of curiosity, why do you think it will be easy to implement a theme editor given all the changes?  I was under the impression that the previous kind of editor couldn't be easily implemented with the new graphics methods.

Personally, I would love to be able to use an editor to do personal customizations that meet my needs, such as the following:

Sorry, I didn't express myself clearly. I hope Sonar designers can return the theme editor function, and now I am also troubled by the color scheme

Don't even bother trying to hold your breath on this: vector driven graphics (resizable for resolution) of Sonar are a completely different animal from the old CbB Bitmap style... in both form, function, and coding complexity.

Although the vectors in Sonar are probably simple SVGs which isn't hard to customize if there was a theme editor, what I believe he rather means is customizing just color themes leaving vector graphic elements alone. Would be a huge thing in itself considering the current uneditable color choices are subpar.

if the colours they're using are variables, rather than hard-coded, then it should be pretty easy to make them user-customisable... having said that, a "previewing" theme editor is much more work

Hi, I'd like to report there's an issue with Themes in the new update, but it only occurs in Brazilian Portuguese local language.
It happens when one clicks in  Edit / Preferences / Customization / Colors, and an error message will appear: "Attempted an unsupported operation".
After that it's not possible to click on other Preferences option, because the same message will appear.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks, we'll get that fixed for the next drop.
