Is there a way to delete one of your own comments?

I've been wondering about this. A while back I read someone mention that they were gonna delete their comment. But when I've tried, I see no option to delete. Is there a way? Thanks

You mean on the forum? Only a moderator can delete a comment, but you can edit one and replace the original text with something like "deleted" or even a "." There has to be at least one character in the post to re-save it.

It's kind of moot if someone quotes you first.  Tho that's never stopped me.

What I’ve found to be most effective is rereading my comments before pulling the “trigger”.

@T Boog simple answer is no. You can edit it but you can not "delete" the contents of a comment and leave it empty.  You can always ask a mod to remove a post for you.
