Giovanni Marcon Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 ProChannel is really missing a good gate, it would be a great addition if the PC4K S-Type Expander/Gate could be made avaliable. 1
msmcleod Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 I agree. I could do with this one, along with the PC4K S-Type Channel compressor. In the meantime though, the Gater style dial is quite usable. There's also TH3.

scook Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 Could the image above be a custom layout? To test I renamed C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Plugins\SonitusFXGate.dll and re-ran Cakewalk_by_BandLab_Setup_25.03.0.15.exe. The dll was installed. It appears the documentation is correct. CbB includes the Sonitus Gate.
msmcleod Posted March 19, 2019 Posted March 19, 2019 (edited) @scook - I stand corrected... I did a clean install of CbB on my work laptop back in January - it would have been the 1st 2019.01 release. I updated it to both the 2nd 2019.01 release and today's 2019.03 release. Sonitus Gate wasn't installed - however the DLL is there. So I manually ran regsvr32 C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Shared Plugins\SonitusFXGate.dll in a cmd window and it now appears. I guess it could have been an install glitch. Has anyone else noticed it missing from a clean install? Edited March 19, 2019 by msmcleod
Tobias Posted March 21, 2019 Posted March 21, 2019 @msmcleod I did a clean install a while back and the gate is there as described.
