This wouldn't be a Cakewalk problem. All fast bounce does is render audio faster than realtime. If the plugin isn't handling this it would be something the plugin vendor needs to investigate on their end.

I agree 100% with @Noel Borthwick, it has never happened with any other plugins and definitely not with the ones that comes with Sonar (which I´ve used since XL) or CbB.
I´ll try to get in contact with Exponential/iZotope ASAP & suggest other users with the same issue contact them too .

Yeah, it's very likely the plugin to blame. Had a similar issue a while back with one of the Arturia synths (the Prophet, I think) incorrectly rendering when doing a freeze. (Didn't respond to volume changes.) They fixed it in the next version. Until then, I just had to remember to do a real-time freeze on that particular synth.

@Steve Patrick @Noel Borthwick

THE BACKGROUND:

When I exported a mixdown to wav .. at end of mixdown my headphones gave off a shrill multinote whistles like a hearing aid and the mixdown wav was nothing else but that noise . I narrowed it down to the NIMBUS plugin added to the FX part of tracks in the project ..

SO:

To bookend this ( I also set up a recent new tread on this unaware this already existed  -

Good news @Hidden Symmetry my workaround seems to work. I added the NUMBUS to the drum track CLIPS and not in the FX, Buses. I then exported to wav and this time NO shrill sounds, mixed down perfectly
