Any good amp modeling VST sounds of electric 12-string?

Howdy - does anyone know of a good amp modeling plugin sound of an electric 12-string?

I am trying to match the sound of Mike Rutherford's double-neck electric 12-string sound, as heard in Genesis songs like: Firth of Fifth, Squonk, Cinema Show, and lots of others.

There may be a guitar modeler. The only vst guitar modeler I'm aware of is Blue Cat Audio's Re-guitar.

It seems to be closer to a PU modeler than a guitar modeler. I don't know if they have a 12 string electric though. The HW guitar modelers that seem to do a good job of 12 string emulation use hex PUs - Roland/Boss and Line 6 Variax. If you have hex PUs you probably have the HW modeling...

Thanks, am looking for an amp modeling plugin for a guitar player, but it seems like more to it than feasible, because of the nature of 12 string high 2 strings not being doubled at the octave level, but are simply doubled B and E.

I think this will need a real 12 string or samples, to meet my needs.

Are you using a real guitar? If so, try recording it twice and pitch shifting one of the tracks.

Then run both tracks through a decent amp sim.

Didn’t Anderton talk about this? On the old forum, so good luck finding it. @Craig Anderton maybe that will get his attention.

@Robert Bone, one solution might be the use to modify the existing guitar audio through a plugin that uses impulse responses to modify the audio into 12 string audio.  Check out this discussion:
