Yes and Nembrini has a great one too and of course the old Kazrog ram fuzz

I don't like a lot of what I've read about some of this stuff either. Nothing against the guy who coded the stuff. Shame too cuz muff vsts are few out there though I've already got the best of them. As for the other plugs, I'm sure we're all well stocked already and then some.. and then some more.. so I guess decide for yourself if more of the same is worth the potential bother, free or not.

Will audio interface tame EastWest Play?
Christian Jones replied to Steve Harder's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Yes. Definitely disable that onboard audio and invest in a proper usb interface. Something by Audient or Focusrite for around $100 to $200 would be a good starter. If you can spend more do it and look at the higher end offerings from those two brands. To help w/ latency you'll be adjusting the buffer on the interface to find a good balance between acceptable latency and no pops/clicks. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ScarlettSoloG3--focusrite-scarlett-solo-3rd-gen-usb-audio-interface https://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/ID4--audient-id4 -
Because the very existence of wup makes some *feel* that it's necessary and I suspect many regard it as an insurance policy and they wup for peace of mind alone. I know there has to be *a lot* of those people. But sometimes w/ wup you get upgraded features and maybe even new plugins for bundles and blah blah. But I think the primary existence of wup is to make money specifically by playing on people's fears and insecurities and I doubt that's incidental. The consensus here is to only wup if something stops working and wuping is the only fix though I'd be exceptionally angry w/ Waves in that case and again I suspect a lot of people wup to *prevent* anything from happening. I like the plugins.

Probably because like me you forget you have it lol

Triple yep and I'll add an f-word to that

No. Those are different people, the one in the video is a guy. I'm talking literally, not the role-playing or whatever. Anyway I found him, he's Chris Bennett, the guy on the right. Wait, are you saying he changed genders in real life?
-
Ah, that's not peanuts though.. that's more like macadamia nuts.. I was thinking it'd be like 20 bucks lol

What's the cost to upgrade to 9 from 8?

The guy on the far right who malfunctions, what's his name? I know stage name is Rabbit but what's his real name? His character has since been replaced by a woman and though there's many pictures of this guy there's no real name for him anywhere

And we have ourselves a winner! Let's all congratulate mibby for skillfully winning the game of the deal. {Narrator} When playing the game of the deal it's important to know all the tricks, and I discovered this one myself recently; if you put and leave something in your cart, often during a holiday and especially towards the end of it (must also be logged in so they have an email attached to your cart), the vender will often auto-email you w/ an even better deal if you go through w/ your cart purchase.

Hmm, I'm seeing a higher price at Everyplugin for ARS3 of $79 w/ the 10 off code
-
Larry do you recall what you paid for ARS3? Is $59 a good deal for it?
-
Yeah Best Service still has the best prices even sans code https://www.bestservice.com/waves.html

F no. Remeber, it ain't just about the product at a decent price; it's about the game of the deal (no, not the art of the deal or that pos who had it ghost written). This means getting the best d@mn deal possible in order to "win." See, I nearly got Trash 2 off kvr recently for $10, and that'd have been a great deal, but this morning I got it for $8.45. So, you know, I win. IOW, if you pay a good price and soon after see it for even just a dollar or two cheaper, you've lost the game of the deal. I don't make the rules.

Guess I'll grab trash 2 then

Thanks man, but I guess I figured out the problem and it appears that the audio track the piano was outputting on got corrupted somehow within that session. When I deleted that track and inserted another in its place and set the outputs etc exactly like the one I deleted the piano now sounds like it's supposed to before and after freeze/unfreeze. I also noticed that, for that corrupt track I deleted, even though it was set to stereo output, when I froze it it froze to a mono wav file, so yeah something got corrupted w/ that track I guess. Ever hear of that? I've been working in this session w/ the piano sounding all messed up this way for a while too and wasn't even aware of it. That makes me mad ?

So I have The Grandeur up in Kontakt routed to a stereo audio track. When I freeze the track and listen to it it sounds just like it did prior to freezing. But after I unfreeze it the piano now sounds much wider than it did prior to freezing. It's weird though, because after unfreezing the stereo piano now sounds like it's supposed to, w/ a wide stereo output.. but prior to freezing, though the output was already set to stereo, it just doesn't sound nearly as wide. When I set the output on the audio track to mono then the piano sounds weird w/ everything down the center, so I don't think the output is changing itself.. I just don't understand why the piano has a wider stereo output after I unfreeze it than it did prior to freezing it. And I also don't know how to get the piano to have that same wide stereo outout from the get go w/o having to freeze/unfreeze it. Anyone know what's going on?
