Pretty much the same for me. Although by that time I was already programming in Fortran, Cobol and Basic on the HP-3000 Series III "mini computer" at work. Yes, it was referred to as a mini computer and compared to some IBM 360 installations I had seen, it was even though those units were just under 6 feet tall filled with sooooooo much air inside.

Yup, this. CbB is like an ex band mate that I'm still friends with. Maybe a collab or two over the years. Full disclosure: I do have a 2013 MacBook Pro where I can run all of my multi-platform DAWs plus Logic X. In other words, I'm not a truly Windows only user.

Louder might be the answer, or some EQ to make the vocal cut through the mix a little more. It's *almost* like they are muffled/masked.

This!

Pretty much how ProTools is setup (except PT uses HUI, as he described in the vid).
-
Yep, I'm SO centric now too. I am working ProTools for a project. Strange days.

Tightest support = Studio One /Reaper/Mixbus/Mixbus 32C OK Support = CbB, requires reset to SONAR/Cakewalk mode Weak Support (flakey) = ProTools 2020, works most of the time, but requires reset of device occasionally when in required HUI mode. I have not tried it in Cubase, Logic X, or Digital Performer yet. I won't even waste my time on Mixcraft 9 or Samplitude X5 as I never really use those.

$200 Discount for Total Studio 2 owners when buying Total Studio 3

Since I don't specifically own TS2 I only got an additional $100 off in the cart. Again, $399.99 to upgrade to TS3 is waaaaaaaay too much especially since I already own (bought ala carte) the entire contents of TS3. -
Since I never used AmpLion (1) yet I expect I would be blown away by 2.
-
I had a random thought today. But then I lost it.

Yup I do, but I also want the EP too and that's $179 right now. I'll wait for the next group buy and likely pick them both up for a tad more that the $113 upgrade cost (if the discount hits 40%). I'm not dying for a Banjo or an EP right now so I can be patient.
-
I already have a doggie free life. Oh, they mean dongle. My bad.
-
Back OT(s) *. Now I have the only two items I don't own to buy in the next group buy. This and the EP. * See what I did there?

Over the years, we've received many requests for a banjo library. Today, we're excited to announce the latest addition to our Evolution series of instruments: Evolution Bluegrass Banjo, an expressive and authentic fingerpicked banjo sample library. The banjo we sampled for the library has a sweet, clear bell tone, with plenty of body to its sound as well. The library's tone is quite versatile, able to provide an elegant, pure sustain, but also an immediate, powerful attack for adding drive to your song when the need arises. This banjo is no stranger to a plucky, gritty sound either, which can be achieved through its louder dynamics, playing closer to the bridge, or harnessing the available built-in effect options. Evolution Bluegrass Banjo is normally $179 USD, but until March 18th you can pick up your copy at a special introductory discount of $139. MORE INFO

I used to frequent Fry's down here. Then I got lazy and just ordered my stuff from Newegg.

Still, $299 for getting an upgrade to a "product" that contains *everything* I already own? Well, I don't outright own A5-MAX but I do own all the A5 and all of the AT Collections. And as I've stated many times before I don't intend to ever sell my IKM products so no soup for me (as Soundwise says).
