On their insistence that that all update/upgrade purchase are added to the "end" of the current plan I bought one discounted plans from Thomann for $77 and it indeed added one year to the end of my then current expiration date of 23 Oct 2024 making the new expiration date 23 Oct 2025. yay

My v5 license is now valid through 23 Oct 2025 with a one year update plan purchased from Thomann. The 8dio team did me a deal. They allowed me to get Ultra for the diff in price between Pro and Ultra. The downside of Ultra it is not NKS. But it installed in a different area on my samples drive so maybe I can use either one where needed.
