I remember the first time I saw an SVT (Classic).

I said... "there's no way that thing weighs 80 pounds."

Then... I lifted it.  (Groan) Yep!  It weighs 80 pounds.

Any classic electric bass into an SVT Classic is (IMO) the definition of rock-bass tone.

Great to have... if you have the physical space.

    Not so great to move/transport...

Any exeperience if those emulations ?

Grrr... Zo, you are always doing this ?

Giving some a rumor but no even small details what is making people so curious...

Anyway PA could learn from Melda for sure one thing, some sharing libraries for GUIs... If they are fixing something it relates to all their plugins at once...  Clever and convenient...

In PA plugs there is terrible mess... Some newest amps have switch to turn off included IRs (instead worst idea ever to click over long list), rest not.

Some has possibility to resizes, others not :(
    Even inside the same brand...

I hope you mean something like this.... ;) Resize for all ! Turn off IR switch for all, Advanced features for all plugins of the same type... External side chain for all dynamic plugins :)

And free voucher for all ;)

Yep you re right i keep pushing during beta , and i m made a crazy thread there lobbying stuff ahah , you know me ...

Send requests , i too find that old amps are a pain , they need to know , and they have a lot if stuff ...but they do what they can , they release this year more products than any brands , uad editions and new stuff ... this takes times ... so getting old stuff on the plan ain t that easy also .

I can t tell you but i wish i could ... but i m serious about agreements , and i already said too much for my taste so be cool with that and stay shhhhh.....

Studio One 4 was released in May 2018...if Presonus holds true to form
Studio One 5 should drop this month!   What are you looking forward to
    new feature wise?

    Custom Plugin Layout

    Icons

    Better engine

    No more crash on close

CLeaning of the temp folder automatically even after crash

    Monitoring section

Integration of external editor as wavelab or soundforge .

  6. Personnaly (i i decide to go real bass and OTB)  i will go with the darkglass pedal cheap and damn good sounding easy to move ... and for the cab , maybe a markbass  .... as for plugins , well what surpirse me is the praise of those amps when they were UA and suddently native , you get like 2 reviews lol

Anyway can't wait Amplitube to get a revamp like the rest of the IK line  !!

Nothing really compares to playing through a "Real" SVT for the instrument dynamics that I have found - there is a certain natural compression to the tube pre-amp that translates to how it handles different amplitude level of playing soft vs hard (from passive pickups anyway) that I have never felt on any emulation no matter how much they claimed to have modeled the original circuit. I call it "Smoosh" and just chalk it up to "Analog vs. Digital"

That said, there is also nothing compared to having to move or lift a "Real" SVT either.   And if you ever play in a band with a SVT AND an B3 - I guarantee every gig you will book will be on the second floor with a broken elevator.  (been there, done that, had the hernia surgery) And Ampeg somehow manages to consistently make the heaviest cabinets with the worst casters in the industry. You also could license every possible emulator and still save money on what a re-tube would re-cost.

All that said, the IK sounds pretty fine for what it is. I've used it in a pinch but generally I mic the real thing and mix it with the DI signal old school style.

Thks for the feedback , have you tried the PA  ?

in real world yep those ampegg are tank to move around lol but theyblast long , we have to give them that .

If you're going after accuracy, this story (posted on our site) comes to mind :

We basically modeled the circuit so precisely that we also recreated a fault that should really only typically happen with actual hardware...  At least it wasn't what old-school computer folks call HACF error (Halt And Catch Fire - this acronym from early computing days is why that TV show is named the same way).

Yep i heard this storyb, my question is more for players ( i mainly do re amping here ) , witch one you guyz feel like playing a real thing ;)  tone wise , gimme one or another i can donwhat i need with a superior land to ik thks to all options ...
