@ensconced hope you 'll be ok homie , yep death is the perfect "vision cleaner" for real ,and as it is the absolute truth , this should be in our thougth at least once a day .
If anything needed hit us anytime !! and yep you're right , softube amps are in my top 3 , even sometime better that neural dsp 3 i have (plini, nolly , abasi) , the details you get from the marshall is just superb (thks to a track played by Soundwise ) , i really appreciated her playing skill with that one !!
Just to ve notice : Amp Room is another product , it will not replace vintage amp room , bass amp room ect , so if you uninstall tjoe and open old projects , you'll be in trouble !!!
If anybody knpow where the data are , hit me , my laptop only has 7 gb free on C !!! don't want to buy another ssd as the cloning will be a pain for all maschine based authoristaion !!

If you are eligible for upgrade price, the upgrade button should be there near the Buy button, but as you don't have an account you won't see it I guess.
I seen either a Vintage Amp Room or Metal Amp Room(perhaps both in different posts?) for sale on KVR the other day.

I can't for the life of me work out how to get the Plexi, the KK Signature or the Eden WT in there, and I can't find a manual.
I'll leave it for now and wait until if and when they reign in the CPU, would like to work out how to get the new amps in though.
I was wanting something like this, similar to Kuassa's A360 to house the amps and add pedals etc, but not at the cost of CPU as is the case here, the Amps outside this are very CPU efficient.
Oh well, keep watching it, send in a feature request for in app IR loader and request some CPU optimization, whether it will do any good is another thing.
You need to update those and then they will be listed their after relaunch ...
i do find this exellent with some stuff to be adressed , gonna expose that during live on friday ...
yep marshall is 11% cpu hit outisde and near 20 inside so i suspect a fairly high oversampling .
user presets aren t there for marshall and eden here , only factory ones ... def a features request ..
in use it s simply superb and the reverb sounds super (emt 250)

The 77 for bass is superb , it replaced my beloved gem comp LA ... something about that shines there ...

Instead of providing a library where at best i m 50 % close in tap to find , with ok stuff in every genre ...they should let you choose the type of library you want
1) general one (actual one )
2) jazz , bleus
3) metal
Ect ...it would have made more sens but they clearly want to sell those ...
The glide is unusable here or might don t k ow how to use , variations are great in busy pattern , but my bassline use to fallow kick here and there , busy bass lines is what i hate ...
Edition is 1990 .... and promised features are not there , and they re blaming daws for that ... witch is false since i can drag and drop audio from any daw in padshop for exemple ...

In fact Piotr i suspect brands to put crappy presets to sell expansion , i had this feeling with massive x and i def have it with ezbass

I have had good results for what I am going for. I like old school low end bass lines with a laid back feel. Think Pink Floyd, Skynyrd, and the Doobie Brothers. I am still in the learning phase I can tell you that for sure, and it's not as easy as it is to get results with EZD or EZK.
My first outings with it on one of my songs I was getting really good results on my Surface PRo, which is a touch screen. Trying to do the same song on my main music computer hasn't been as successful, IDKW. But I think I can get better bass lines out of it than I can play. That's for sure.
I still think Toontrack hit it out the park on this one. I really do. I still love this software and it will be used for everysong I will make from now on.
For , there s some stuff that i don t like the smell of , editing approximation is one of them , looks for me more like a release candidate than a finshed product . All i can say is tha my other bass stiff gonna stil be used more often from what i seen .
calling something ez while it s not at all the case is strange ... if i have to spend 30 min , the whole concept of replacing a real session bassplayer for fast writting recording. Isn t met .

I bought it, installed it, tried it, uninstalled it, I don't need it, and it takes more time and hassle for what I use things like this for, I can program up a place holder with MODO Bass or Trilian, and that's all I use them for, placeholders during creation, then play the bass line with a real bass in the end. This would just cause excessive time wasting for me fluffing around with everything.
I'm gonna give it more time , quality time , right now ,conditions at home aren't optimal creation wise , gonna try to move and have creative times as well as spiritual and healthy oriented .... my body is giving me signs of "wtf zo "

Bougth it , installed it , tried , didn't touched it since .... for me it's as simple as fake or uncomplete marketing , i love them and use their tools but on this on , i'm dissapointed in that area , at least .....

He says as he downloads the Eden WT800 Bass Amp sim demo . . . ?
I was about to say don t try it lol ...now you re down , if you want that growl ampeg style forget about it but if uou like well defined precise and classy tones , this one and the darkglass are killer as well as markbass ...
be sur to play with the band splitter it s the key !!
Softube seems underatted someway or maybe are unhyped ...
i ve read horrendous reviews about the marshall , watched a review online where the guy was dissing evrry move but man , this thing needs to be mastered gain staged wise like crazy but once done , pure joy ...my conclusion is that very few konws how to set t up ...

True , def on my list , so sad API went nutts on prices , can't believe it was 2200 euros now it's 3500 euros!!
Do they think US EU have gold mines ? ok France steal the gold from Mali (900 tones a year) , but even ....

I have Elysia Xfilter & Xpressor 19' rack, like them a lot, use them on the drums/perc bus.
Do you mean Heritage Audio Successor? No haven't tried it. Isn't Heritage Audio made in Spain? I heard of reliability issues. A pair of AML's 54f50 could do nicely instead :-).
hard to find in europe ,but yep great option , that said i love the form factor of this bad boy and operation :

Indeed, same with SSL, Carlec is a bit better.. perhaps BBC broadcast had something to do with it. Also Studer, pretty good for the age ?
Millenia NSEQ is great, it was an instant buy, just like you've said... respectful of the source and very nice filters. I like to use in on the orchestral stuff a lot, when sound to start with is already there, just for the extra something... Massive Passive eq works there also, it brings the wood out from the Strings in an very cool way.
I know, I run the HW mix bus, cannot live without it. Also I like the Bettermaker stuff and almost always 19' rack HW, as 500 series counterparts didn't ever impress me. AML 54f50 (500 series) being an exception, so far.
Just remembered where I've got a cold feet about the Harrison 32 C. It was when I tested the 500 series module... it was kind of versatile, ok filters but nothing special at all, not sounding any better than some good plugins.
The one that impressed me is the rubber band from weiss , and the elysia 500 is what i would get , hard to beat it in term of value for money ...
did ya tried heritage audio 33609 clone ?

Thanks James! Interesting, tried UAD EMT 140 few times and was always on the fence about it. It sounds ok but never took the plunge. I love the VSR S24 so much that don't know if it's needed. Also have quite a few Waves plugins laying around which are not even installed due to their Waves Update Plan coverage policy. Must check the Abbey Road Chambers, though.
Have you used the real Harrison 32 c console Zo? They were all very heavily modified and a maintenance hogs. Might have to revisit the UAD emulation as I read somewhere that it was probably modelled on the Bruce Swedien's console. That one is classic.
When tried briefly the UAD Harrison 32 it didn't do anything special for that material, preferred the Massenburg eq which is what I bought.
Yep maintenance is a pain. So was our neve at SAE lol ....
well the 32c eq is what i call safe eq for students , if i had to point another one that gave me the sale feeling it will be the millenia nseq 2 , it s smooth and respectuff of the source and i love the filters .
Give me the same dsp as mixbuss and i would be happy already , have you compared those two at least ? Curious to hear you on that if so ...
Concerning the distressor , you re actually like me , the 1176 and distressor were never my first choice for anything in studios , that said itb the distressor can do wonders when it sthe sound we need ... but not essential .
To tell the truth , more and more i m thinking on going back HW for the 2 bus for real , specially when youncan get superb stuff for honest prices and have recalls (wes audio being one option)

It was the 140.
His assistant Noel said they were super-impressed by the Abbey Roads chambers. They were using that primarily on drums, and using the Capital Chambers and EMT on other instruments.
The waves chambers sounds superb specially the stone room , but man the cpu hit is ridiculous !!

This sale saved me $100. A couple of weeks back I downloaded the demo's of the 2 Marshall sims, Plexi Super Lead and Kerry King Signature, IMO simply awesome, and I just had to have both, I was prepared to pay full price of $149, but thought I would wait out the demo period, which was 30 days without any restriction, hoping that these would go on sale the next month, kept checking the Softube site and Plugin Boutique as last month drew to an end, and sure enough before the new month ticked over or any advertising came out there they were for $99 each, insta buy, so happy, luck going my way for once, and with 5 days demo period to spare ?
The superlead surprised me , i then tried the kerry king , super versatyle , both superb .... i wish the release the bluesbreaker ...

I tried the API and the waves one is still great so no sure if the gap justify this pick yet , for the 33609 , i will compare to the lindell grandpa emu (254) , the ik 33609 is great to but misses some imho ....
The capitol , well the sunset , really impressed me , so i know i'm gonna use that , same for the strips , console 1 has some superbe ones , so i try to be complentary .
The harisson is one of the best eq around (in real life ) hence my pick but i would try it first of course .
The dirstressor is imho the best emu around , including the arousor witch i do love .
