No, the bom file only contains the list of files that should be installed but not their destination. The destination folders are fetched from the system registry. On my computer AAS installs no less than 3x VST2 and 1x VST3 of every instrument. So be it.
 

Yeah it s a pain because when i launch maschine it keeps scanning again and again aas stuff , not only them but mainly , i erased some but i m afraid to go threw each destination as some might be used for something internal .... don t know , i escalated this to aas at one point , but they do it to be sure people with maschine and all have the dll , previews ect ...

This is a reminder for us to keep it on the humble side ... helas we live in a society where death is taboo , so that because of covid with a super low death rate , people are ready to lose everything to not be sick while we forget that life , means death acceptation.

I m so sad for Terry , so sad because behind my screen i feel without any power to help in any kind , exept like Larry said prayers ... witch are far for unusefull .

Taking this occassion to say how glad i am to be a part of this forum "fam" from my very first dayz in cakewlk ones when Cj used to make fun of my writting , to bapu and ol pal sens of humour that i had to learn as a english is not my birth langage .... to Larry and his exeptionnal contribution... fun , help , chill , usefull infos , solidarity .... ect .. this place shows that humans is a social species , that we need each other to elevate (even if i love to be in no mans lands time to time) , and in thks place , no matters for the race , religion, political believes , it s always cool hence the only forum i chill in with gearsutz ...

So to all of you guyz , much love , spend quality time with fam , crash the beef with fam of any, take time for YOU and keep the human rythm versus technological one that is agressif .

PS : i really hope i said nothing that can stress audience or moderator , if so , i apologise ...

We are what we eat / think ... eat well , fast sometime , think good , sleep well ... ( i do have issues in that aspect , sleep and it stuff so impacting it can be) .

Thks , it's more about color than movement , the color the UAD ones has or the Red model in Mc dsp is superb  (kinda loFi , but not algo lofi ) i'm very sceptical when delay add FX and you tweak those (like BX or UVI  , usually the Lofi , or others fx are pure algos that can be "vulgarous" sometime) .

I will give it a go , but yep features wise it's a beast , S1 has one good delay in this aspect where you can mldulate several parameters like that ,the NI is crazy also

Also , sonically , any thoughts ? Uvi tends to be kinda lifeless but precise and transparent , kinda like fabfilter ...

Yep drivers , i know they rock hardware wise but hardware is useless without solid relianbility via drivers ....
