    SSL X-Delay and X-Echo

RTried those , the cpu hit is ridiculous and injustified .... hard pass while the price is exellent , sad
  6. I hate that they don't release legacy versions in natibve format , those stuff are cpu hoggs and the legacy were super efficient already in dsp so they could be superb for native use ....
  7. Sorry Larry didn't saw you posted this ... want to merge thread ?

    East West LoFi !!

Hi guyz , EAST WEST just release LoFi .... the promo video was kinda meh ... but after testing it , i'm really surpised , here 's my take on it and EW infos ... : With their latest release LO-FI, EastWest steps beyond the conventions of traditional hip hop and EDM toolkits into a world where dark, gritty textures and edgy, distorted sounds meet modern production. The release of LO-FI coincides with the 10th anniversary of ComposerCloud+, the very first subscription service for music producers with over 42,000 high-quality instruments for every genre. To celebrate this occasion, EastWest offers the subscription for only $9.99/month or $99/year to all new subscribers in April 2025. LO-FI is designed for producers who seek bold new territory beyond the clean and polished—diving into a world of intentional imperfection and extreme processing. By creatively reshaping sound through pitch shifting, distortion, and degradation, EastWest has transformed everything from synths and keys to orchestral textures and guitars into dynamic, expressive instruments. Whether crafting hip-hop beats, atmospheric soundtracks, or experimental electronic music, these sounds provide the raw energy and depth to inspire new sonic frontiers. Modern Controls to Shape The Chaos or Amplify the Mayhem LO-FI’s user interface centers around an XY Pad with 4 selectable Macro Effects that change multiple parameters simultaneously. Blending a vintage knob-per-function design with sleek modern styling, all of LO-FI’s controls are easily accessible in a single page - from dual filters that can be modulated to an advanced 16-step arpeggiator, a multi-mode portamento (glide), and a bevy of effects to widen, pulse, distort, delay, and spatialize the final sound. Pushing LO-FI to the Limits From the very start, the producers set out to craft something raw and untamed for the modern producer and composer, going far beyond the clean confines of typical libraries. The producers dove deep into sonic experimentation—warping every sound with pitch shifts, bit crushing, and amp distortion—to create a gritty, one-of-a-kind palette spanning hip-hop, electronic, soundtracks, and more. From growling basses to mangled orchestral stabs, each instrument reflects relentless processing, with versatile categories like warped guitars and eerie textures, plus a suite of FX to shape or amplify the chaos. This is a production toolkit with a bold, unfiltered edge—distorted, unpredictable, and built to inspire. Price & Availability: LO-FI is available at https://www.soundsonline.com/synth-and-effects/lofi. It is included in every ComposerCloud+ subscription (only $9.99 throughout April 2025), or on sale for $199 (regular $299) for a perpetual license.
  11. To be honest i own quit some sonicouture stuff and the only one i keep using is geosinics .... mainly for real field recordings , not even presets lol And of course electro acoustic (wich is brillant) , but the gui is so small that i tend to skip it now ...
  12. Guyz if we erase the samples (plain and simple) is the app buggs or what ?
  13. How many auth do we have then per licences ?
  14. I own Vintage vault 3 , synth anthology 3 ,beatbox 2 , the worlds suite 2 (or 3 can't recall) ect ....upgrade is 599 .... no thks ... Sent an email to support to ask for double checking and EDU account setting check since i usally have 30 % even off sales ... zero answer .... So i'm skipping this , 599 i'll buy HW and ghave fun (price of hydrasynth , arturia minfreak , or close to a korg multi poly , minilogue Xd ect ..)
  15. yep CPU and HDD are modern Soundgenerators constraints The disk space is way to hight , but the good thing is that ya can downlaod per presets samples , wich is what i plan to do since i don't use all ... Giving last releases from xferd, Arturia , softube , chery audio , xlis ect .... cpu is just not possible for me here .... so sampled stuff are agreat aletrantive specially when you get closer to raw sounds that software usually struggle to get righ like HW , the more we use fx ect the less abvious diffrences are ...
  16. can we have both at the same time ?
  17. In case some pleople want the conclusion :
  18. Here we go , Iconic versus Forbidden Planet , had a lot of fun lol Hope it will help people to have a better sens of what those are ... Here guyz i take my time to show you the core differences between EW Iconic and Forbidden Planet , when it comes to sound containt , concept and applications as well as the differences in the interface (script engine) . As usual i show some tricks and at the end of the video i also show some guest appearance from other libraries in a layering situation (Silk , String Machine ect ...) Chapters are presents , but take your time to really watch each part as it's deep and not divided in sub chapters (too many ) for each concepts . 00:00:00 INTRO 00:01:40 Containt Comparison 00:05:15 ICONIC 00:45:19 FORBIDDEN PLANET 01:09:10 My Presets and important Tricks 01:19:03 CONCLUSION 01:22:08 Extra Guest : Layering exemple with String Machine Thks for watching . Be sure to like and sub if ya fell like so .
  19. I like the fact that they fragmeneted it in sevral title , this way you can install or erase what ya don't need or no more use at one point !!
  20. This synth was so much in the future (ahead of its time ) at that time , it 's stupid !
  21. Thks Fleer !! You too !!! Guyz for those that have questions and can't try those , feel free to ask , i went deep and know those bad boys quit better now ... And be sure to take advantage of the Midi Tools !!
  22. Never heard of this one , looks like an andromeda ?
  23. Hi guyz , here's a video i wanted to see when thsi product been launched , more precisly about how deep we can go sound design wise . In this video i try to highlight this aspect !! Be sure to check chapters to go straight where you want to . 00:00:00 INTRO 00:01:17 OPUS IMPORTANT SETTINGS 00:03:56 ALL SOUNDSOURCE (Dry) 00:23:14 CONCEPT 00:24:54 SOUND DESIGN 00:46:15 MY PRESETS & TRICKS 00:55:38 CONCLUSION
