Now to cap it all I tried deleting the track then reinserting ST4 CS and doing a rescan - after a couple of instruments CbB crashed ?

Also when you first go to use a sound you have to authorise those with the same serial number as you get for ST4 - as I have just discovered

Mmm - one step forward two backward. Larry was right - I had forgotten to set my path for the ST4 instruments - did that and rescanned and they are now there. Unfortunately my other imported and Syntronik instruments have now disappeared even though the paths are included in the paths list. Will keep trying!

I have Miroslav 2CE and want to be able to import the sounds into the latest version of ST to avoid any obsolescence issues. I use the Miroslav module at the moment but have also imported the sounds into the free ST3. I'm also interested in trying some of the sounds that come with ST4 CS

I'll have another look later today without the benefit of a bottle of wine ?

I do find IK the most troublesome software providers - it really should be easier. Sorry Pete!

Got the serial number but now don't see any ST 4 CS instruments ?

Downloaded but I don't seem to be getting a serial number in my IK User area

Ah thanks Matthew. I hadn't realised there was a Kontakt version of GPO Sorry that you and others will be losing the right to reinstall software that you have been licenced. Seems like a poor show by NI. I don't have Kontakt and this wouldn't encourage me to buy it

Re the third party products is this only if you have bought them through Native? I have GPO5 and would be annoyed if I couldn't reinstall it if I get a new PC or update current one

Beat me to it Larry! Quite tempting - wish they still had those AAS soundpacks as a freebie though. Not sure how much I'd use the Soundspot mixing collection they have free this month
