  1. Thanks - yes I need to be much more selective too. I can't keep up at the moment! Hence my request. After I said that I had a quick listen through the example on the pages and some sounded potentially useful but quite a few I would skip - the hip hop ones sounded quite good even though that's not a genre I'm into - some nice melodic lines and laid back drums. The Dupstep ones just frightened me ?
  2. Just seen this on Music Radar's site - don't think I've seen it here - not sure how useful it would be for those of use with a fair few pianos https://www.musicradar.com/news/samplesciences-resonance-is-a-free-piano-plugin-inspired-by-nils-frahm
  3. There are even more here! https://cymatics.fm/pages/free-download-vault
  4. Anyone know if these are worth having? Zinc T would be interested in your views when you've given them a listen
  5. I'd give my right arm to play like that - oh wait a minute.......
  6. I haven't got full Kontakt so I'll have to see what the Reason patches are like
  7. I hope the sound programming is better than the text overlay in the video!
  8. There's someone giving them a very unwarranted hard time on the Soundspot Facebook page!
  9. Well that was a bit disappointing - getting a lot of crackling from Union after going through a few presets - not happened before with that synth though it has happened with Sampletank 3 but restarting CbB has always solved it. I restarted PC and altered buffer rate but no joy. It was even worse in Live 10 Lite! Be interested to know if anyone has same problem. CPU monitor in CbB is not showing anything untoward
  10. They're remarkably big folders for presets! 700 - 952MB! Ah they're full of .wav files
  11. Ah they have just arrived by email! Though the receipt still says full cost!
  12. Spoke too soon. Was automatically logged in to the site No download links or serials ? Sent a support ticket!
  13. Well....my purchase statement says that my payment failed and show the full cost of £102.99 but I have a receipt from Paypal for £5 and they've sent me a password so lets see what happens!
  14. Site is working ok again now! Just bought the Union Presets and the Glitch effect
  15. Ah maybe because I went back in the deal was voided
  16. I've just gone back in and the deal appears to have ended - I had CM in my basket already but when I went to the cart it tried to charge me for an issue or a subscription Shame I missed out but I dare say they'll do something similar again
  17. Now why can't every site work like that one - clicked on Buy Now for Oriental Toolkit and it downloaded straight away! ?
  18. You pay peanuts you get cart filling monkeys! ?
  19. I've just tried too. Random things added to basket - remove them all and more random things appear - hope they sort it as I wouldn't mind the Union presets and probably the Glitch (I already have Nebula as a PIB freebie which might have been tempting otherwise)
  20. Look forward to watching this later today
  21. Thanks very much. Is it safe then just to delete the redundant 32 bit .dll's ? Do they leave any detritus behind eg registry entries. Most of my VSTs are on my 1tb data drive (apart from some that weren't happy on there!) so space isn't too much of an issue so I'll probably keep the VST2's that I also have as VST3's
  22. Yes that's for issue 200 - I have downloaded that - it was the earlier free edition 168 I was trying to get to ?
  23. It appears that you can't access the older free issue (168) download - it only goes back to issue 180 on the webpage - unless I've missed something. Not a big issue as nothing there I'm that bothered about but it would have been nice to check it out https://www.musictech.net/news/magazine/musictech-dvd-download-area/
