Is Erik Norlander a better keyboard player than Jordan Rudess?
Jesse Screed replied to abacab's topic in The Coffee House
No, none of that, just a blankey, a glass of warm milk, and a lifetime subscription to Sound Bytes Magazine.? https://soundbytesmag.net -

Maybe this will help. It compares the three and is quite informative. Me? I have a hankering for Abbey Road 1. I already have plenty of synths, and the loops in Albion may be of use, but you know what the purists say about people that use loops.? -

Very dreamy, perfect song for my Sunday morning coffee and waiting for the sunrise. Nice guitar work!

The third mix works better for me. Not as harsh as the other two. Excellent work at getting a tight cover. It was all quite good in my opinion, and I am awed by your efforts as this is nothing that I could ever do.

David, this is a tribute to your Mother, no? I like the way you push the norms. All of your posts are interesting, and in a world of sameness that is refreshing. That is a great picture of Frances by the way. I tried to read the menu.?

Gary, you are really putting in the work on this one. I strive to mix half as well as you. The group is very talented, and the songs are very good. This mix was a little hot on my computer speakers, but overall everything was clear. Be careful for paralysis by analysis. I will need to investigate this "template mixing" thanks for the tip.

No, stop saying that. There are kernels of beauty in everything you do. For instance, I burnt the waffles today, but because I was hungry, they filled me up.

Thanks for that Larry, The nice thing about Spitfire is they do a lot of the groundwork for you. There are other libraries one can tweak to perfection, so I need to wait for a better situation. When one begins at the bottom, it is a hard slog. Spitfire, to me, is the epitome. So I wish and hope.

Yes, must spend more time on the production. You are so right in your assessment. Thank you teacher.

There are those who follow the rules, those who break the rules, and those who make the rules. I'll leave it to you to decide which path I think you travel.
