https://www.echosoundworks.com/free-kalimba This has probably been free all along, and I have other freebies from Echo Sound Works. I couldn't find a topic about it, so here it is. It is free, but full Kontakt required. Although there is also a Logic X and Ableton version included. Which probably means there are wav files included.

Very nice for them. I bought some of their sample packs and they are quite useful.

I don't hope so. But, it's too bad NFT's have that reputation (and rightly so), because there is something to the concept. Very basically it's just another form of ownership and distribution. We used to buy vinyl, casettes and CD's. Then we downloaded MP3's (we still do). Then we streamed everything (we still do). The latter is just modern radio, there is no ownership anymore. So it's the far end of the spectrum. I am of the opinion that eventually ownership will swing back. It already does with vinyl sales on the rise. So owning a certain piece of music, and not just the media which it comes on, in addition with the nifty technological things you can do with it, will be the future imo.

Go easy on me, I should have known. Last time I looked into this was like 10-15 years ago. Back then there wasn't any good Android app.

Neural DSP - Archetype: Rabea (not a deal unless you have loyalty discount)

The sounds from the synth are great from what I can tell from their website. Gritty. -
I will acknowledge your choice, but I can't like your post. I hope you understand. Tim brings an interesting option. Stream from your laptop / desktop to an app. I guess I'm not the only one with terabytes of mp3's somewhere on a dusty external drive.

Still, if Winamp is coming back, they better bring along the classic skin.
-
Oh I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention. I was talking about Winamp but I see you were talking about Foobar2000.
-
Everything other than the classic skin and layout is blasphemy.

I cannot check right now, but I believe I'm on this version as well. No reason to change. As for the new Winamp...I actually think this is very clever and interesting. There's an entire generation of people who instantly recognizes the name. What if...and this is not going to happen but....what if is would be some combination of youtube / soundcloud / Spotify / Tunein (or whatever radio app) / Distrokid (or whatever distributor) etc. They talk about fair income for creators and releasing music, so there is a model behind this. I'm very curious as to how they are planning to market this and what it will be.

I'm trying to save some money here man, leave me alone ?

I demo'ed the presets and the basses sound pretty fat, but not really my style. Sounds like it's very good for dubstep.

No pop-up for me. Or maybe it's a very slow one which takes an hour or so.

Not to spur on any controversy, but isn't crypto supposed to fix this? Send your € funds from account A to wallet X, convert to crypto Z (make sure it doesn't crash in the meantime ?), transfer crypto Z to wallet Y, convert to $ and cash out to account B. Takes 2 minutes of your time and will cost you next to nothing. Just a mild heart attack everytime you don't see the funds within a couple of seconds and you fervently start checking your wallet adresses to doublecheck you didn't mess it up. Ontopic: I really like al lot of those Originals and this one is no exception. I think it is really great value.

I will open up a ticket this weekend I think. I had this problem before, but honestly forgot about it. Until I tried to use one of those mangled piano instruments and it was back. It's not during loading or previewing or selecting the sounds, it's upon playback. Ableton just completely shuts down. But not always right away, after a couple of tries I could bounce out the audio. Luckily Ableton saves crashlogs, so I hope it is something that could be fixed. I found a topic on VI Control with people with the same problems on different DAWs. It could be file structure related, or some buffer setting. On topic: I'm a sucker for drums and if they are anything like the UNO samples, people should really consider this.
-
This could be interesting. If it's based on the UNO drum PCM sounds, those are great. Unfortunately I couldn't get the UNO working on my new PC in Ableton (even IK support stopped helping and I couldn't be bothered to start the whole process up again) and unfortunately Sampletank keeps on crashing (every session, I should really look into that).

I think I have the free version and if I'm not mistaken this full version is part of V collection 9? I'm on 8 now and plan on upgrading on BF or sometime around there. If it doesn't count towards the upgrade price, I'm willing to wait.

I caved. The libraries sound amazing. So I got Evolution Jumbo 12 and Evolution Infinity. I feel these will add the most value for my style. Got some extra discount with Orange Slices, which made the total $112 for both libraries. Great price.
