I really like this song. It has a very pop and cheery sound with some very poignant lyrics (they match the times). The vocal and BGV's were very good as was that lead guitar that came in toward the end. Nice one indeed!!!

Absoflippinlutely great!!! Both the video and music create a neo-film noir touch and are spot on in complementing each other. If I am not being too nosy, may I ask from where did you get the video clips or did you do them yourself? Excellent piece of work !!!

Very well done indeed --- excellent production and vocals. It does indeed remind me of the early '80's.

Very well done Mark. I love that "scratchy" drum sound and the retro feel to this number. Excellent playing and good mix. I love the mix of electric and nylon on the guitars.

This one is primitive, striped down, and raw. It took me ages to get the sound of the lead guitar just right (I almost got it like I wanted). I was going for that gravelly. over driven sound of the early electric guitar sound of jump Blues and early electric Blues. It is raw and basic but I hope you enjoy and that it might induce a consideration to participate in our democracy. I also hope that it gets you toes to tapping. I caught my breath and did some more virtual running to catch up again. It was definitely worth the virtual effort. You definitely experimental but each one of your songs has a different flavour (it is like being in an ice cream shop). Some are kind of funky, others punky, etc. but all are Jesse! Keep 'em coming!!!

Cool song Douglas. Absoflippinlutely, love the sound of that Les Paul as well as the some great playing. I agree with some of the comments that some harmonies or BGV's might add to it but it sounds good the way it is!! Nice one indeed!!!

What's not to like. I echo the comments above ---- for a demo this raises the bar very high. I would say it is definitely halloween ready for play. Excellent work by all. Excellent vocals and those are indeed some tasty guitar sounds.

I really like this song Paul. It is a beautiful love song with a wonderful melodic lilt. The story is great and the lyrics are perfect for the story. Your vocals are excellent on this number and I like that slight echo put on it. Nice work!!!

Wow, I loved this one! That rhythmic riff sets it all off for me. The lyrics were clever and the guitar work was perfect. I even liked the drums. Nice one!

I guess I got here too late for the video but the new demo was beautiful. That f-horn perfectly accentuated the piece. Well done indeed!!

Stripped down, raucous, and raw, is what normally attracts me in music. However, I really liked this piece of music. A lot of twists and turns, each instrument had an opportunity to present itself, and the touch of some dissonance kept my attention throughout. I always enjoy what you post and this is no exception.

Absolute perfection again Nigel. Beautiful song, great performance and video that complements all of it. I share your apparent distrust of politicians. However, as frustrated as I am, I am staying at home following the advise of experts in the fields of public health, medicine, microbiology, pandemic research, etc. They have the academic training and experiential expertise to know what is best. In general politicians don't. I would not go to my mechanic if I were not feeling well. On the other hand, I would not take my car to my physician if I were having car trouble. Each is the expert in their field. Science is a discipline that demands to be questioned. I find that trait rather refreshing. I always enjoy your posts Nigel. Keep "em coming!

Great story telling and country sound!

I've been running hard Jesse in order to keep up with your productivity. Quirky, creative and most definitely cool with interesting observations in each. I was knocked out by Something in the Water --- kind of a soulful, funky, Bluesy sound. Luv that guitar panned hard left.

I apologize for posting another song so quickly, but it was in me and had to come out. Accepting the conclusions of medical, research, and public health experts, I am a "stay at home" guy. The problem is that I have been watching too much TV (especially news). This little number is what resulted from this affliction. It is done up in bluesabilly style and is intended to be a bit rough and raw but not too biting. As always, comments, crit.'s, suggestions, etc. will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!
