Terrific! I love unpredictability, and this has it. I have to listen some more.

Wow! This is one of your best songs that I've ever heard. Your productions skills are catching up with your songwriting skills. I love the delay and hugeness of this song, which compliments your terrific vocals. Congrats!

The free convolution reverb in Melda is fantastic and CPU friendly.
-
Outstanding! Excellent panning and a surprise ending. Eerily haunting which is perfect for this time of year and history. At this end, it's clear as a harp/bell.

You're doing more than nothing, my friend! This is one of your better ones. It's inspiring.

I like this version (#3), and I especially enjoy hearing your voice. You always seem to be bursting with fresh ideas and new songs- you're hard to keep up with. Keep it up!

Barry, this is a terrific song that's just a hair from being stellar mix-wise. You've got the clarity down pretty well. All elements are easy to hear and are in the right place. What I'm missing is "body". There's a thinness as if too many low frequencies have been shaved off by a hi-pass EQ. The latest version of CW has a ton of good presets in the quad EQ in the PC, which might be a good starting point if you're interested. Not to worry, your songwriting is as sharp as ever, and your music is a pleasure to hear!

Great pairing, you two! I don't know whether to laugh or cry, so I'll try both. A+

Kevin, you hit this out of the park! Your acoustics sound great, like they're right in front of me. Your voice is as soulful as ever, and your lyrics are terrific, too. I can hardly wait for your next song.

Paul, I like everything about this! I listened to it several times before I responded because it's so enjoyable. This might be perfect for a video. Stay healthy!

This is a thinking person's rock! To make this topical and funny is no small feat. I just keep coming up with these morose tunes that I can't even relate to. Well done FM!

I like this song because of its unpredictability. It's simple, yet, to the point. It's not doodling if you have a POV. Good job!

Could it be your metronome?

Don't be discouraged! Once you get to know CW, you may end up in hog heaven!

Are you using Bandlab or Cakewalk by Bandlab? Big difference.

If you're recording acoustic guitar, check your mic, mic cable, and mic placement. Are you using batteries in any place in the chain?

Listening to this song made me very happy. I like the mix the way it is, and think this is a gem! Fun, fun, fun...

Great PSA, Freddy! I'm with you all the way!

You're always playing with fire when covering the Beatles, but I think you did a good job with this tune. This has always been one of my favorite early Beatle songs, and I suspect if John Lennon would have had this reverb available to him, he would have gladly used it. Well done!

Paul, this is a damn good song, with a clear, well-balanced mix, good arrangement, and very good vocals. I hear many influences here, and I never get tired of this style of music. The only crit I have is the bass guitar. I've read your post in the instruments forum and noted your concern with the bass, and while I like the part, it just seems to be missing the low end to balance out your bass drum. But, that's all; the rest of the song sounds "radio ready". All in all, I'm ready to listen again for the fun of it!

I couldn't agree with you more, Freddy. I'm glad to hear this song, and I love your approach to this topic! I just want to add one thing: vote!

Nigel, thanks for your inspirational song and video! This is very uplifting for all of us. Keep it up!

Fabulous! I want to listen again because I wasn't expecting this. You get strong points for originality, but that's no surprise. Congrats!

Another terrific song, lyrics, and vocal from Staypress! That was a tasty guitar solo, btw. I once was acquainted with a real psychic vampire, and she truly sucked the life out of the room, so I can relate to this very well. Gee, it's too bad we're relegated to making only demos here because this raises the bar.
