Honestly, I would have kept recording with my trusty Roland VS1880. I record a lot less now.

I currently have K13UCE, and own Izotope 9 advanced etc but on sub 10 pro. It's going to get VERY interesting. Will they still manage separately or merge all accounts. Watch this space!!.

After selling my Roland e-drums, thinking my neighbours here in UK were cool with my drumming at reasonable hours. I got a knock on the door this morning. "It's becoming ridiculous Tony, we hear your (acoustic) drums every day. That's true, about an hour each morning usually after 8am or close to 9am week days and about 9-10 on weekends. We treated the room an most of the sound is actually contained, but, they can hear it over their crickets and classical music, therefor it's an issue. They don't want me to stop playing, just play less loud less often. It's already only hitting about 55db across the road... I'm sick of people not wanting live music around them anymore. I get if I was playing early morning or late at night.. but sheez...

I use Fairchild all the time. Stellar for parallel or single, and limiter.

I have both, I'll compare them. Just don't hold your breath on my timing LOL. Oh and, still waiting on JRR to get me the code.

Yes Grem, burlap. I made those myself. Wooden frame filled with rock wool. They really do work very well. Cheers, Tony

Most of what I’ve done is to lower neighbour issues, however, the drums sound tight. I wanted to play live and I can. Real bass traps are larger and heavier. But those (Auralex I think) do disperse some and absorb some.

Hi folks, We moved house, no more rental!!, yeah. I was going to splash out and build a soundproof studio. Then I began thinking more about the state of things. This is my compromise, I went with a big old Zaor 88XL desk so I could have my rd2000 handy. Brought my acoustic drums back into play and I have my eleven rack sitting there in a floor rack with some other stuff. Huge savings and the room is actually not a problem. Neighbours tell me they can hardly hear me, Bonus.

I did WUP In October.. and I am being very good all around, other than hardware :)). I only did an update (at LONG last) TO Soundtoys 5.3 from just having Little Alter Boy. They finally up-graded me for a really good price, unlike previous silliness. I feel like a scrooge compared to others here LOL.
