  1. I love the intro. I don’t know what you used for it, but that drone bass was great. There is something about some frequencies that are missing (on purpose) which gives it that hollow sound. This is great because it allows you to have room to mix for ear candy. The lady for one. There is such a nice opening for her. Also the synth wiggles just fills but they fit so nicely!
  2. My favorite song by you. Thanks for putting in the time and energy to do this one.
  3. Good groove. The vocals and harmonies were very good!
  4. Love the intro I thought Annie Lennox was going to sing. I have aleays liked how you could put unlikely parts together and make them work. And work well.
  5. Very nice. It will certainly be on of her legacies.
  6. Very nice. Professional sounding composition and mix!
  7. Putting them in a folder would make it one click. If you do it frequently, you could key bind a group or 2 or more on the track level.
  8. You could do like me and not use PC 😀. added- FF Pro Q4 can easily removed if you don’t need it. I don’t think it would fit in the PC slot anyway.
  9. Multiple saves write a file not visible to CbB/Sonar till you rename it. It is good for a quick save. I usually do save as song 01, song 02, etc. Sometimes I use save as- song 01 - new tempo or song 01 - added strings. You would be surprised how helpful these file names with edit info are. Sometimes I save as song 01a, song 01b if there are minor changes I want to capture.
  10. No one mentioned the band mate feature of EZ3. You should read about it before you pick a paid product. Someone mentioned they did not hear EZ3 on the charts, but they also didn’t mention that SD is in a bunch of songs. It is the next thing to having a drummer on call. I totally agree it is very expensive, but it is a professional product. No one would know what would be right for you except you. Just do your research like you’re doing now!
  11. If the export is softer, you could have bussing errors.
  12. The export dialog is really good in cakewalk. But, If you can open the song, my 1st suggestion would be to use the file - save copy as. Give it a new name and a new folder. Then try this version.
  13. #1 would be to upgrade to Sonar because it has the feature you want already built into it. #3 Nudge. Look it up in Cake help file. It will show you how to set it up and how to use it. Or google “cakewalk nudge”
  14. That’s super cool. I gigged a few years with a Crumar! Great prices back in the day.
  15. 1) Sonar has this feature built into it. It is there for shifting slow attack strings so the timing feels correct. 2) you could add a time alignment plugin. Several companies make them. 3) If you need this frequently, you should look up the nudge feature. It can easily shift + & - amounts.
  16. Oh no! I just upgraded a couple of days ago! I’m going to email just to see if there would be any discount.
  17. I have mercury, but there’s one plugin in this free pack that’s not even in Mercury!
  18. Thanks. I have used https://www.scintilla.org but not notepad2. I will look into it. thanks ☺️
  19. Yes I have many backups. What happened is I added and organized things quite a bit I opened it up and one of my main folders got deleted. I blame it on my phone. The screen is too sensitive. Sometimes it clicks when I assume it since the heat from my finger or something. I just need to move the synth (lost folder) to the current layout. I’ll look at the editor. That would be a great addition for the current plugin layout editor. I tried excel it was a no go.
  20. I looked at the pkg files. The look to be some type xml files. I’m not sure if I could correctly edit them with notepad.
